As regulars to Sitges, no trip is complete without several visits to el piano bar and on our first night visiting this year, it just happened to co-inside with the bar's 20th anniversary day.
We were treated to a glass of cava form the staff as was everyone coming in whilst we were there, and it was amazing to hear the stories of that bar from its beginning.
Their bar is ( as you would expect from the name ) a piano bar with regular gusts visiting it to entertain the customers.
However, as I can see from other reviews and experiences over the years, the warm welcome from the staff is the best bit about this bar.
On our night, Steven and Bjorn were on duty, which added to the bar's atmosphere.
For someone looking for a 'local bar' but away from the main streets, the el piano is the bar to seek out.

No trip to Sitges is complete without a trip to El Piano. A very, very short walk from the main strip and has fantastic music! The owners are such lovely people and the bar itself is beautiful. This place is just amazing!! I’ll be back!!

We did our research before we left the the Uk to find a place like this . El piano ticked all the boxes for us and we had to go on our first night in Sitges, which ironically was show-tunes Sunday. This was amazing !
A wonderful atmosphere, very friendly and Steve and Bjorn are just amazing wonderful hosts, and treat you like family.
These two work tirelessly to make sure your happy and content the whole time your in El piano bar.
We visited most nights for the week we were on holiday there and enjoyed each and every time. We made new friends had lychee and chats with other customers at the bar it was fab !
Highly recommend visiting this place if you can.
We can’t Waite to go back and of course see your new friends Bjorn and Steve again : )

This wonderful piano bar has emerged from the pandemic with its heart and soul intact. My dear Bjorn and Stephen, you deliver entertainment and hospitality without peer. A night in your company bristles with utter joy. NEVER visit Sitges without visiting this music bar, which amazingly attracts wonderful guest artists from around the world.

We always visit El Piano when in Sitges , its a must , the owners are front of house and put so much effort into making sure their customers have a great time , the drinks are reasonably priced and you get a very good measure , they open at about 10.30pm and the music is continuous with a West End star appearance from time to time .

Carnival weekend, some friends recommended this place as friendly, within 5 minutes of arriving, (staff were really welcoming and smiley) everybody was dancing, music was familiar and easy to sing along. People kept coming and going, they all looked like regulars, and very very funny and friendly. We ended up spending most of the night there. Definitely a must go in Sitges. I'll be back!

Despite 5trips to Sitges my first visit to el Piano. I wish I hadn’t waited so long to visit. The bar opens at 10:30 pm and was fairly busy but we did get somewhere to sit musicals playing on the TV and at midnight and acoustic set that was absolutely brilliant great pianist great singer. Looking forward to paying of another visit next time I’m back in Sitges.

11 years now in Sitges and goes without saying I'll be in here. Staff always give you a welcome smile and hello and are quick to serve. Ask for a tune and if they have it they'll play it. Often live singers here. Never fails to disappoint! Great fun always!!!!!! See u next year!

This intimate, friendly bar will give you a very warm welcome. The bar staff work incredibly hard to make all feel welcome and ensure you’ll have fun. The live music is second to none with free - yes free - live performances from international stars including many well known west end stars. Having tried some (ok all) off the newer bars in town this little treasure is still my favourite. You may come as a stranger but will leave as a friend. A must visit when in Sitges

This is a small, intimate, inclusive music/performance bar which has a warm welcome for everyone. You will go in a stranger and go home a friend. Prepare for a supercharged party...and be sure not to miss guest nights!!
