A museum about the history and traditions of the Galician people that has surprised me pleasantly. It is very complete and your visit highly recommended. Very beautiful spiral staircase.
As an improvement of the museum, although it offers the possibility from an app, it would be very comfortable and satisfying for the visitor if the descriptions of the panels were in other languages besides Galician, such as Spanish and English, as most museums do, since it is surely visited by many foreign tourists from the Galician region who do not understand the language (or not in its entirety) and either do not want to use their phones or do not have mobile data during their visit.

Very interesting and enriching museum to discover the trades of the Galician people. There are different exhibitions to discover each craft. There are also some historical exhibitions because the museum and built in an old chapel. I recommend

It is worth visiting this ethnographic museum about Galicia in the monumental area. It has many rooms to see and has a lift.

This museum is less than a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral and is housed in a former monastery. Nearly all of the signage is in Spanish only. There are arrows on the floor that somewhat direct the flow through the museum but we found it confusing, and were not completely sure that we saw everything. The highlight for us was the very unusual triple helix staircase, but that actually added to the confusion of the navigation since there were so many ways to get off and on at so many different levels.

Excellent museum! Housed in a beautiful old convent, this museum is just packed with fascinating information and examples of the lives of Galician people from fishing boats to musical instruments, carnival costumes to every day wear. It is useful to have a Spanish speaker in the group as most of the information is in Spanish and Galician, understandably. The triple staircases are gorgeous but there is a lift for anyone with mobility issues. Do visit, if you can.

Interesting museum about Galician culture although more details about the collection and better signage have been missing. Also, as a suggestion, since Rosalía de Castro was buried there, it would have been nice to be able to find information about her or her work.

Interesantísimo museo etnográfico situado en un antiguo convento junto al camino por el que los peregrinos llegan a Santiago. Oficios, indumentaria, tradiciones, mar y campos, el trabajo de la mujer... Un delicioso panorama de la cultura tradicional de Galicia.

The information is only in Galacian, nothing in English. I was so disappointed because I wanted to learn about the local history. You can still get some sense by looking at the exhibits (eg. Boats, reconstructions of houses), but would really benefit from some English signage.
