We had my entire family plus my son’s girlfriend at the Wine and Tapas tour. Simon was our guide and he immediately engaged us and made us feel at home. We went to all off the path, local spots and avoided touristy and cliches. Every spot selected was done so thoughtfully and with quality in mind. We all learned a lot. Could not recommend this tour more. Simon is a 10!!!!

My family and I are americans living in Madrid. We did this tour when my inlaws visited Madrid and had the best time. Leire was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable. The food was fantastic. My inlaws said it was the best thing they did while in Madrid and they attended two Real Madrid games while they were here. It was my second tour with Walk and Eat and I enjoyed every minute and every bite. Thank you!!

Leire was a great guide. So enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We had beautiful food - chocolate and churros, the best jamon, olive oil, fruit, beer and tapas. A great introduction to Spanish eating.

Our group of 6 took this Tapas and Wine Experience with our tour guide Irene on October 14, 2023. We absolutely loved our tour guide Irene and every place she took us had incredible food and an amazing atmosphere. We were overjoyed with the amount of food, wine, and Spanish Vermouth we got to try on this tour. Would definitely do this tour again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great night out while in Madrid. Thank you to everyone at Walk and Eat Spain for making this a truly unforgettable experience!

Amy (owner) and Oliver (tour guide) were incredibly helpful and responsive in working with our group that had a lot of special needs (young baby and someone with mobility issues). The tour was adapted to our pace and we got to try a wonderful assortment of dishes, ranging from churros to tortilla to pork skewers. Oliver did a wonderful job in explaining each of the dishes, their origin, and how they’re meant to be enjoyed. They even programmed a playground break in for our son! Highly recommend them for customized food tours. Thank you so much for the wonderful time.

My cousin and I went on the evening food tour while visiting Madrid. Simon and Margit were so friendly and welcoming. They explained everything we were trying and also shared some history of the city. It was a great night with good food and even better company. Totally recommend this food tour when you are visiting Madrid.

We spent our second evening in Madrid with a lovely group of travelers on the De Tapas: An Evening Wine & Tapas Experience with our wonderful guide, Simon. This tour was a Rick Steves recommendation---and we couldn't have been more pleased. We toured a wonderful neighborhood in Madrid and sampled the best of the local cuisine and wine. Simon was very knowledgeable, interesting and fun. We felt like we had truly experienced something truly local. We loved our evening excursion and would take this tour again in a heartbeat. Thank you to Margit and Amy for a wonderful experience!

We had the best tour with Isabel. We had landed in Madrid the day prior and this was an excellent opportunity to get a feel for being in Madrid like a local. Isabel was able to provide some very specific local advice for our week ahead. The vendors were expecting us when we arrived and had prepared all of the food for us so we felt so welcomed by each stop. All of the vendors we visited had excellent food. We really enjoyed this tour and the guide. Highly recommend! Five stars!

This was a great food tour and a perfect way for me to spend my last evening in Spain. Our guide Andrea was excellent and it was a really good way to see a different part of Madrid and taste delicious food and wine.

My husband and I did a private De Vinos tour with Amy. In this tour we went to two tapas places-- one traditional and the other more modern--, drank excellent wine, and learned much about Spanish wines and food culture. We appreciated that we went to neighborhood places that we would never have discovered on our own. Amy was a wonderful host with great enthusiasm for sharing her expertise and passion for Madrid with others. If you are looking for a food and wine experience that feels individual and not at all like a corporate/prepackaged tour, Walk and Eat is the right choice.
