Cheap museum (2€ per adult and free for children) and interesting to understand the traditional festival of Valencian fallas and social facts in the city and Spain.
Explanations noted in French (among others). We also elected our favorite statuses in the family. The children were interested. A good time, I recommend.

This is an amazing museum. The models on display, dating back to 1934, are incredible, intricate and thought-provoking. The information about each is in multiple languages, and gives the background to the person or issues the models depict. Well worth the miniscule entrance fee (€1 for OAPs!). I would recommend the Museum to anybody who visits this amazing city.

The sculptures are incredible! It is hard to imagine they start from styrofoam and wood. All the exhibits are winners over the years. They have smaller exhibits upstairs and on the walls the posters from years past. This is a definite go see, it is very worthwhile. Fun and interesting!!

A place to learn about the Fallas festival. The best, the collection of pardoned ninots, which are spectacular.
They have a room with an audiovisual that, at least when we went, was not usable.
Some video and a place to sit for elderly or disabled people would be appreciated.

Closed on Mondays, along with Serrano Towers & Silk Museum. Unfortunately my visit to Valencia fell on a Monday, so quite disappointed that I was unable to visit some of the most important attractions in the city. Hopefully this info will help others better plan their visit to this amazing place.

Museum that was recommended to me and to which I went without many expectations, as it turns out that it surprised me and seemed very very entertaining.
Especially seeing the ancient faults where you see the evolution of this country.
Very interesting and pleasant and on top of that at a price of €2 I thought it was great....

Nice nice nice. Okay, it's good for about an hour, but it's so special to see all the fallas dolls. You see the history and growth in terms of techniques and possibilities.

It is a museum dedicated to the "Fallas", which are traditional Valencian festivals that involve the creation and display of large, intricate sculptures made of cardboard and wood. These sculptures are called "ninots". The Fallero Museum exhibits a collection of these ninot, which are saved from the fire during the annual Fallas festival which if I'm not mistaken is held in March. The nights during the Fallas the sky of Valencia is filled with lights and colors thanks to the large fireworks. Every year, during Las Fallas, numerous ninots are created and Valencians choose one to spare from the traditional burning. The chosen ninot is then exhibited in the museum. This type of celebration has the function of purifying the area of evil spirits. The museum also provides information on the history and cultural significance of the Fallas festival. There is a room where you can watch videos about it. It's a great place to learn more about this unique and vibrant Valencian tradition. The entrance ticket is only 2 euros, or free on public holidays or if you have the Valencia card.

El Museo Fallero de València permanecerá cerrado por obras, necesarias para la instalación de climatización en el edificio, hasta el próximo 28 de febrero.. El sábado 29 de febrero de 2020 volveremos a estar a su servicio.

Si no conoces la zona aparcar puede ser complicado. Pero hay tres líneas de autobús urbano que te dejan en la puerta el 25, 35 y 95. También el autobús turístico para en la puerta. En la calle de detrás a unos 100 metros del Museo paran el 13 y 14.
Un taxi desde el centro te puede costar entre 5 y 6 euros. Caminando desde la plaza del Ayuntamiento hay unos 25 minutos tranquilamente.

El Museo Fallero de València es accesible, tal y como indican el resto de comentarios, para personas con movilidad reducida ya que sus pasillos son amplios y hay un ascensor para el acceso a la planta superior.
Además actualmente, gracias a la colaboración de la ONCE, se está ultimando la transcripción de algunos de los textos explicativos al Braille para facilitar la visita a personas con problemas visuales. También se están editando audioguias en varios idiomas para que nuestras visitas resulten más completas y que se comprenda mejor la importancia de nuestros fondos en su contexto social.
