What a very pretty place to spend a sunny afternoon exploring, and it's only a 1 hour walk from Las Arenas Beach in Valencia.

Do not hesitate to take a bus or taxi to get there. The port is small, but the parallel streets are beautiful. We stayed there about 3 hours, time to enjoy the view and drink something. The beach is right next door and the beach very clean. A nice outing and beautiful photos.

Saplaya Harbour it's a very nice place, it's a "must" visit, if you are in the area. Pretty nice and colorful houses, a lot of beautiful specific flowers and trees. There are some restaurants with very nice view, to enjoy your drink or meal.

Was really not impressed. Concrete balconies are breaking up and wrought iron rusting. The complex was built 50 years ago, showing it’s age and never connected to the promenade from Valencia to the north. Seems to be mostly low cost rentals.

Small port with some colorful houses that would somehow recall Venice. The area in question is just outside of Valencia above the main beaches and close to a large shopping centre.
There are some small restaurants in the area without infamy or praise.

It should be a must-see while in Valencia. Very nice walk through canals and colorful houses, restaurants next to the beach and a nice promenade. It is worth spending an afternoon there.

The truth is that it is one of those places that are contradictory for me, on the one hand it smells like overcrowding, but on the other hand it is pleasant.
Deep down I value it because I visited it in December with a spectacular sun and very quiet, I'm sure that in summer I wouldn't even go near it because it must be brutally overcrowded...... or at least I suspect it...

I highly recommend visiting and having a holiday here if you want to go to valcencia. Fanastic location with beach and amazing supermarket nearby. Will return when able.

We stayed here for a week in October 2023, and were 2 couples in an apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Fantastic location right by the beach, and at the back an idyllic marina. Many places to eat in the area, and a short bus ride to Valencia is a plus, along with good rental prices. Some furniture should be replaced, and for example a dishwasher would be good. Recommended.

Called 'The Venice of Spain' as the main residential complex has a marina area in front of all the houses which is a very pleasant walk although some the boats are starting to look rather sad and forgotten. In each corner there is a bar/ restaurant area which also lead to the back of the complex which has the main road and buses.
We were surprised how expensive some of the restaurants were on our Tapas index but I suppose they have a captured audience, there are little options bar the big supermarket which does allow a home cooking option. There are a few 'local' restaurants which are targeting less the Luxury tourist which are worth finding.
Outside this complex are a couple of beaches and a swimming pool area although the latter was closed all week except for 1 days when we were there which we found odd.
One can go for a very long walk heading towards the Valencia docks, mostly well paved and once there one can catch the city hop-off/ on bus which stops at the old docks.
We probably would not stay again, we found it a bit too isolated without a car.

Para vivir todo el año no hay problema. Es un área residencial pensada para vacaciones, sobre todo si tienes un barquito que lo puedes tener aparcado prácticamente en la puerta. ASl lado hay un dentro comercial de Alcampo que abre rodos los días menos festivos, hasta las 22:00. En verano está bastante lleno. Los fines de semana de invierno también hay gente, además de los que van al hipermercado y aprovechan para pasear por la playa y el puerto deportivo, también hay gente que solo va a dar un paseo. Está muy cerca de Valencia capital por autopista, apenas 5 minutos aunque hay atascos en algunas horas. Se puede ir en bici o dando un paseo por camino asfaltado en unas huertas, de unos 15 minutos, hasta la Patacona, paseo maritimo playero, en zona totalmente urbana que llega hasta el mismo puerto de Valencia. No es la plaza Mayor, pero tampoco un pueblo de Soria en enero.

Just had a terrible first night in port saplaya, want to leave now but we are booked in for a week. Can anyone tell me if it will be quieter tonight being a Sunday night? Noise in apartment is unbearable till 4am then our 4 year old gets up at 7- can't do that all week. Thanks for any advice.

There is a residents association in the main building in the plaza and they speak English in there. If there is excessive noise you can report it to them as there are general rules for use about no noise after 11pm. My guess though, is that its either Spaniards who have rented their properties to tourists ( many tourists dont give a toss what noise they make when on holiday) or its the owners themselves on weekend jollies. The top floor apartments would be a bit quieter as most of the noise is below you. Port Saplaya is always busier at weekends as many apartments are owned by Spaniards as holiday homes. I found the complex to be incredibly noisy as they are all made from concrete with no acoustic insulation and the plumbing pipes are encased down the inside of the walls.

Por partes, Alboraya pertenece a Alboraya, es una entidad propia. Port Saplaya pertenece a Alboraya pero hay cierta distancia entre ambos. Hay autobus desde Alboraya hasta Port Saplaya.
A Alboraya se puede ir en metro pero no a Port Saplaya.
