The oratory of S. Pellegrino is a true masterpiece of medieval art, easily accessible from the highway. An old gentleman was our Guide, very kind and very prepared, he answered willingly to some questions in depth. Also interesting is the nearby church. There is no ticket, you are invited to give a free offer, more than deserved. Fruizione this very nice, but that will soon be inadequate given the influx of visitors.

in this hamlet of the municipality of Caporciano there is an oratory covered with original frescoes perfectly preserved within the complex of the abbey of Santa Maria Assunta, it is truly a spectacle that has no equal.

If you suffer from Stendhal syndrome do not stop, the Oratory of San Pellegrino cannot be described in simple words, where experienced and capable volunteers guide you on an incredible journey. Two kilometers from the oratory of St. Peter, call the number on the door for a guided tour.

Drawn by the fame of the 'hermitage of San Pellegrino we went to Bominaco after phone call to understand how it worked. Very crowded place without any indication of timing and sequence, first church then hermitage. The Guide, very good, was obviously exasperated by the crowd, so we had to give up the visit of the church, they practically closed the doors in our face.

The 1100 church contains original frescoes with wonderfully maintained colors and are dated 1100/1200! A Sistine chapel in Abruzzo not to be missed. The keys are found with a lady who lives there but on the door of the church you will find the number. of telephone to obtain the opening. Even the completely original external part deserves a careful look. Higher up there is the castle or rather its ruins but it is still well maintained.

Very small place, but a little gem! The church is gorgeous, unique frescoes!!!! Present guide, from tel at the moment to the number indicated on the gate. In half an hour you can visit the church and adjacent abbey. Highly recommended.

A small village that exudes history with the remains of a monastery that are worth the trip: the church is very beautiful with works of rare beauty from the baptismal font which intones the "do" to the candle at the altar; but the oratory leaves you enchanted with frescoes from the 1200s I believe but certainly pre-Giotto style of exceptional workmanship and excellently kept. Absolutely worth seeing! It's a shame that the town doesn't even offer a bar worthy of the name!
The guide is good and competent even if perhaps a less artisanal management of the place could guarantee control over the takings and greater investments in the care of the place!

Beautiful visit to the Oratory of S.Pellegrino. A little-known place that certainly deserves to be seen. The guide was excellent and showed us the history and characteristics of the works with passion and competence.
