Beautiful ride in Ape Calessino with Antonio. Kind person, prepared, punctual and meticulous. And he also takes pictures. Better than this you want?! Beautiful tour that made us live, it was a great start to vacation in Matera.

Antonio kind and prepared person, a nice ride through the old streets of Matera. You pass through pedestrian traffic visiting at walking pace and also stopping at the main points. Recommended to book early!

It is worth it, with excellent Guide, takes you through the streets of matera and saves you a lot of leg. Antonio our Guide was very attentive and we explained everything about the place. Super recommend.

Today, August 18 we were in Matera we opted for x the calessino tour of Antonio , a fantastic trip with all stories of Matera , Antonio nice comprehensive and professional at the same time gave us a ride that we will never forget , we will return over the Christmas period as soon as we succeed and call Antonio thanks for ♥️ x having told us Matera and its story

The tour is not cheap (€90 for 2 adults and 1 child) but is a great way to see the city, especially when it is hot. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable and shared lots of information about the sights we saw on the tour. Highly recommend if you are in Matera for a short amount of time.

Disappointing- what to expect?
This is a Tuk Tuk taxi ride around town with a little recorded English commentary about churches ONLY.
There is absolutely no information on the history of Matera. The driver who did not introduce himself is only a driver and not a guide. He only spoke a little English so it was impossible to ask any questions.

I chose to give this gift to my best friend and was immediately impressed by the experience and by Mr. Antonio who was for both of us an exceptional guide.

Matera is very hilly. It is also sweltering in June and added to those things, I was travelling with my daughter and granddaughter who is only 18 months old. Taking in the incredible history of the place and seeing all the town from many vantage points in a tuk-tuk was wonderful. Antonio, our young guide was lovely with Annie, knowledgeable and everything one could ask for in a guide. Great tour.

Assolutamente consigliato! Antonio, the guide, takes you into the magical world of stones of Matera. 45 min ride in which you discover the wonders that the ancient part of the city offers!! I'd do it 100 more times! Thank you!

Il Tour Standard in Ape Calessino , tra i Sassi e il Centro Storico di Matera , con brevi soste panoramiche e alcuni cenni storici , dura circa 45 - 50 minuti e il costo è di 20 euro per adulto .
Il Tour Lungo in Ape Calessino , con la possibilità di visitare la Casa Grotta e una Chiesa Rupestre , dura circa 65 - 70 minuti e il costo è di 25 euro per adulto .
Se siete interessati , bisogna confermare il Tour scelto , per stabilire giorno , ora e punto di partenza .
Vi consiglio il Tour nel pomeriggio .
