Friendliness & professionalism go hand in hand, as do elegance & familiarity. Helpful staff; atmosphere teeming with liveliness and creativity. Excellent dishes and quality beers. A place for all tastes and all ages.

I had booked a table to celebrate our wedding anniversary.... I asked without paying attention to the expense of preparing a nice table (two candles and a nice table centerpiece would have been enough), it's the cake, when we got there they accompanied us to the table, the disappointment was immense, no table prepared, we had dinner anyway , when the cake arrived, another disappointment, a kind of small cischeic with a pink candle in the center….the justification was that they had understood that it was my husband's birthday, worse still because on the phone they had guaranteed me the prepared table and the cake …even worse if they realized it was my husband's birthday…. The pink candle didn't seem appropriate to me... a little shameful... After years of being customers…. And you pay enough….

I was on business with friends for lunch and what happened was truly incredible. Let me start by saying that the room was not crowded and after initially ordering 3 first courses and 1 pizza, we waited more than an hour. Not even bread was put on the table. The fish-based first courses arrive and, instead of linguine with lobster, as chosen from the menu, there are spaghettoni with an unmixed sauce and only the empty lobster carapace. The other first is the tonnarelli with pistachio and these too with very little salt. The paccheri with swordfish, here too the sauce was mixed very poorly, giving the impression that it was cooked separately. The pizza wasn't good at all, it was raw and felt like rubber. The curious thing is that they also made you pay for the glass of beer that was replaced because a fly had fallen into it. So I paid for the replacement beer. The very bad and very negative experience was the unrequested chilli pepper in the paccheri and lobster which is NOT put unless requested. In fact, an allergic diner felt ill. We didn't want to continue lunch to avoid other surprises. We paid and will certainly never return.

It is not the first time we eat in this place, and every time it is a confirmation of quality and professionalism, fresh food, professional preparation and attention to detail, wide choice of fresh fish, excellent desserts! The owner is an exquisite girl who pays attention to every customer's need, she pampers you, even the waiters are present and very kind.

Being on holiday near Reggio Calabria and on the advice of a Calabrian friend of ours, we had dinner at the I Portici restaurant for two evenings.
Really delicious raw fish appetizers with scampi, oysters, mazara prawns and sea bass. To continue with excellent first courses based on paccheri with cricket and tonnarelli with bergamot. Very kind and professional staff and owner.
Recommended restaurant.
