The Food Tour was well organized and the both leaders of the tour were so knowledgeable, energetic and knew their food and wines. The food and wines we had were fantastic. I will definitely recommend this tour to all my friends. Fantastic job!!!!

I was in sorrento on a family holiday and sneaked a night away for myself to do this tour. It was a fab evening of great food, wine and company. The gourmet girls are the perfect companions and took us to some truly amazing local restaurants two of which I visited again with my family. I would highly recommend doing this if you are in sorrento.

My husband and I had THE best time on this tour. Vanessa and Lee are incredible guides and their friendship is infectious. You feel like you've known them your whole life.
The food was incredible in every restaurant we went to. It was the perfect amount and the amount of wine you get to try is amazing.
We loved chatting with other guests and meeting some of the owners/staff. We highly recommend doing this tour when you are in Sorrento. It is absolutely worth the price for the food and memories!

The tour was cancelled 48 hours before we were due on it and we didn’t have the time or the money back in time to arrange a replacement activity. This was due to be the highlight of our silver wedding anniversary which fell on the same day. We were devastated.

Julie. Whilst of course we are sorry for your devastation, as we advised at the time we cancelled the lunch tour solely because one of our main vendors & good friend closed due to his young son requiring an operation in Naples. We did offer you a complimentary upgrade to our dinner tour which you did not accept, so I am truly sorry that you found it necessary to leave this entirely unfair and unkind review of our small family business. Furthermore we did issue your refund immediately and advised you of such via whats app. Cancellation is not something that we would ever do lightly but on occasion situations do arise that are exceptionally serious and leave us with no alternative.

The Taste of Sorrento food and wine tour was excellent. The Gourmet Girls put on a superb event. From the wine to the information to the food - everything was great! And the amount of food (and wine) was overwhelming so pace yourselves! We had a really wonderful time.

The Gourmet Girls were great! A highlight of our trip. They are very knowledgeable about the food and wines. We visited 4 restaurants, one for each course of the meal. Food was amazing. And there was plenty of it. The wine pairings were perfect. Vanessa and Leigh were amazing hosts and made the group feel very welcome and special. They explain about the local cultures, history and traditions and how it influences the food. They provided several wonderful recommendations for restaurants in the Sorrento area and in Rome. We visited several of the recommended restaurants and they were all wonderful.

Lee and Vanessa always come through, the highlight of my trip to Sorrento. Do yourself a favor and immediately book your tour for the Bella Sorrento Progressive Dinner Experience. These ladies not only give you the history of Napoli/Sorrento
foods and wines of the region, they are extremely entertaining with their quick wit.
Each ristorante we experienced had a different approach for the food and wine being served. All the business were family owned and the recipes, many times handed down through generations. Others had a more modern menu. The first stop served us I think 3 or 4 wines to go with each of the course. I did not know how I was going to make it through the rest of the tour.
The second stop made pasta that you wish you could have every night. The third had the best beef I have ever tasted, which includes the famous tuscan beef I had in Tuscany. I wish could have brought some home, The last was for dessert and those espresso drinks knocked me out and kept me up. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
You will learn much about the region, however most of all, you will feel like family, make new friends, laugh , eat, and truly understand the meaning of La dolce vita. Thank you ladies once again for a memorable treat.
