Alan was our tour guide, extremely informative and charming! He was very patient and passionate throughout the entire 2 parts of a tour (2nd part was a complete surprise and unexpected)
Highly recommend this for people that want to see an alternative historic view of the underground city of Naples … covers Roman, Spanish, Norman , Greek and more modern times of the history of the city itself.
If you are lucky to get Alan you will be truly blessed!

It's worth queuing, but of course it's worth booking.The only drawback the rudeness of Sig.Anzia who works there, picky and indisposente .. gave me fake information and wrong directions .. change jobs and give way to someone more motivated and competent!!

A suggestive journey into the Neapolitan underground. A friendly and very professional guide accompanied us through narrow tunnels 50 cm and caves / cisterns. Temperature around 20 degrees high humidity up to 80%. A must-see for those who want to get to know the bowels of this city. Very important is the final stretch with the scenes of Nero’s theater that are reached through a hatch placed under the bed in an old Neapolitan “bass”. Cost €15

Route rich in history and interesting! Watch out for narrow tunnels, I do not recommend it if you suffer from claustrophobia.

It is interesting. But it feels like it is very unsafe! You go very very far underground. To get there you have to walk down thousands of slippery stairs in the dark. At the bottom you first go to a large room which is OK. Then the next bit is awful. You must squeeze through an extremely narrow rock passageway. You have to walk sideways to fit through the tunnel. I was last in our group and I struggled to get through the passage and I got scared and went back out to the room. Then I felt even more scared as I was now totally alone in a dark underground cave room. And I didn't know where to go. All my group had gone on ahead . There are no signs for the exit anywhere. And there are no alarm buttons to say you are in trouble. I went back to the narrow tunnel and tried to get through it a second time. I got through it the second time. Now I was in a dark room still totally by myself . And I had no idea where my group was. Eventually the tour leader came back to find me. Safety was very very bad. We saw a few more rooms. Then we went back upstairs. The stairs are very very steep. There was an older woman in our group and she struggled to get up the stairs. We stayed with her as we were worried about her. Eventually I went on up to the top to the talk to the tour guide. I left my friend with the older woman. I said to the tour guide that the older woman Is struggling to get up the stairs and he didn't go to help her. He just said oh it will be fine. Safety is worrying on this tour

Prenotando il biglietto saltafila sul sito, in loco c'è una fila prioritaria per il pagamento o devo comunque fare la coda? E se compro su tiqets, posso entrare con il voucher o devo comunque fare la coda in biglietteria per trasformare il voucher in biglietto?

I am not sure if this is suitable for someone with walking difficulties. Pretty sure there are over 100 steps to walk down & back up, not to mention there are some sections of the underground is very dark & narrow.
Best check with the ticket office before buying the ticket.

How much is an adult ticket if I buy at the kiosk? Skip the queue is €15 online, and the website says this is more expensive than buying at the venue but I can’t see how much the normal tickets cost for an adult

Not really, a few of the stairwells were single file only. Lots of the places you stand in are quite spacious.
