This tour is great fun and extremely interesting as a glimpse into Naples’s history. Our guide, Augustino, was extremely fun and super-engaging. He told us so many stories related with the history of the tunnels, wells, structures along the way.
This tour probably wouldn’t be suitable for those with claustrophobia, and definitely not for those with limited mobility, as you do have to wander through some very narrow tunnels (as well as descending and climbing stairs), but otherwise, we loved this stop during our trip to Naples and would highly recommend!

Chicca finale 'O Munaciello.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but i sure wasnt expecting Alex, our guide! He was a bouncing ball of energy and enthusiasm, bringing to life the origins of the catacombs and the struggles of the population during WW2.
The tour begins with a long descent down many stairs and then alternates between open chambers and occasionally very tight tunnels, (apparently there are wider alternative routes if needed). The exit route is nowhere near as arduous as the entry, overall I would perhaps think twice if mobility were an issue.
The history of the place is in the chisel marks of ancient slaves and wall doodles of bored neopolitans waiting out air raids, the ghost stories and humanity were brought by Alex. A wonderful 60 minutes!

Beautiful experience. Giulia, our Guide, was wonderful, she was able to tell us the history of Naples in an excellent and captivating way. Very professional and empathetic. He kept everyone, big and small, attentive and involved. We didn't even realize we spent 1h half underground.
Visit highly recommended.

Merci beaucoup

Is it possible to join a tour in English?
What are the costs?
And how do I books/subscribe/where can I buy a ticket?

In order to visit Naples underground you need to introduce your self outside of the bar Gambrinus in 'Trieste e Trento' square, at one of the times and days you can see in the website. No booking is needed.
The tour lasts approximately 60 minutes and it does not require a particular apparel, except for a pair of comfortable shoes. It is useful to wear a sweater when outside it is hot.

Hay dos napoli sotterranea? O dos entradas diferentes? No Me queda claro...

Apasionante
