This was my third visit to Pompeii, but I had never been there before, so it left a lasting impression on me. The three-tiered auditorium was said to have been able to accommodate about 20,000 people. However, I was amazed that such an arena was still buried in ashes. It's definitely worth a visit.

One of the best architecturally preserved structures in the city. Its dimensions are not at the same level as its other cousins, but it is in an excellent state of conservation and preservation.

not so special and not too big but a bit more peaceful and near around also pretty. ok to visit if you got time although it was a bit far from train station entrance

We were amazed how they restored this amphitheater in Pompeii! It was incredible to see & walk around on the main floor of this stadium. Interesting fact that Pink Floyd played a concert few years back & it must have been amazing to attend!

The amphitheater is one of the most fantastic attractions of the archaeological park.
Very well maintained, it has a very suggestive external appearance.
An important work that gives an idea of how the Romans were capable of creating such beautiful and important structures.
To be seen!

Visited as part of an intrepid tour for Rome to Amalfi. Our tour guide had arranged one of the Pompeii guides to talk us around the entire area and we came in here near the end. Worth a look. Like a mini coloseum. Spent only about 10 minutes here but that’s all you need.
