I know there has been talk about who to use at the port at Civitavecchia. Who do we use?? We just got off a cruise and while waiting for our car and driver to take us to the airport saw many different companies so your choice is many.
We used Rome Cab Transfer - on time and very courteous and safe driver. You can reach them at info@romecabtransfer.com They will also take you into Rome if you choose.
We have another cruise planned with pick up at this very same port and look forward to using them again.

I needed to find transportation from the airport to Rome and then from Rome to the cruise port. After I receive confirmation that they could accommodate both trips, I booked my transportation and prepaid for everything through PayPal a week before our trip. We had a bit of a mix up, but Maria was amazing and got it sorted right out (I felt terrible when I realized I was bugging her in her day off). Then, I had to make a change to my itinerary because our travel group size decreased. Again, Maria was amazing at working with me to get our hotel pickup changed, and then immediately refunded the difference at the conclusion of our trip. I will definitely use them again, when I return to Rome.
In the airport, our ride was waiting for us, holding a sign with our name. For our hotel pickup, the gentleman came inside the hotel lobby and found us there waiting for him.
If you need transportation, secure your reservation early because they get booked up quickly.

Excellent experience. Warm, friendly and on time. Reasonable cost, comfortable ride. My friends and I were hesitant at first but enjoyed the ride and guidance. Thank you! Next time in Rome, we shall see you again.

Our flight was delayed but our driver monitored the arrivals board and waited until til we were there. Communication was continuous until they saw us. Messaging us on WhatsApp while we were still getting through customs

Used this service to prebook a taxi pick up from the airport, and return. Service was excellent from start to finish. From the planning / booking, to the arrival at airport, through to getting us back to the airport on our return. Very professional, cars are of a high standard and immaculate, as are the drivers. And the price is very reasonable. Would highly recommend this service as it was made so easy to use, and everyone we dealt with was highly professional

This transfer from the airport to our Airbnb and from the Airbnb back to the Airport was seeming less stress free, professional and perfect!
The communication was from start to finish stellar. We started communicating roughly a month prior to our trip, all our questions were met with upmost courtesy. I made a mistake while booking and questioned how I can fix it. They just took care of it. As soon as we landed the communication started via WhatsApp, we were met at the airport on time, greeted and helped with our luggage to the car. The driver was courteous, polite and kind. On our way back from the Airbnb to the airport a few days later the driver was even better than the first one.
The communication before, during and after our trip was just amazing. The price unbeatable! We will use Roma Cab transfer in our upcoming travels! 💕servizio professionale e meraviglioso! Grazie mille

We had a great experience with Rome Cab Transfer. They picked us up at our hotel near the Trevi Fountain and took us to the cruise port in Civitavecchia. They were waiting for us in front of our hotel and even gave us a few interesting historical tidbits about Rome on the way out that we hadn't heard. The driver was attentive and didn't drive aggressively. I would recommend them 100%

In February, we took our 3rd trip to Rome and Rome Cab & transfer was the first reservation we made. As always the drivers remember us and treat us like old friends. Mary’s team is our trusted transfer service and old standby. I always recommend to my closest friends and family.

Visiting a foreign country for the first time is a bit nerve wracking, but visiting with my family of 7 adults had me stressed beyond belief. As the mom, I was in charge or should I say took charge of all the planning (accommodations, tours, transportation, etc). I reached out to Mary at Mary Roma's transportation to inquire about the logistics and I was immediately made to feel comfortable. The whole process was explained to me in detail and communication was exceptional! Arriving in Rome very early in the morning after a very long flight and seeing the driver standing there with my name on a card, I breathed such a heavy sigh of relief! All 7 of us with our luggage were escorted to the van that was clean and roomy and delivered us straight to the door of our Airbnb! Mary provides an invaluable service that I would use every chance I got. Thank you Mary Roma for your professionalism, reliability and responsiveness to the tired and weary traveler!

Husband and I flew to Rome, spent a week there and did everything a tourist could do. Lovely time.
Had made prior arrangements with Mary Roma, to take us to Orvieto specifically to see the town and go to Civita di Bagnoregio ( a must see). Emails between us were always answered and she knew what I wanted to do so she planned a day trip to Orvieto for us. Then after Orvieto to be dropped in Civitavecchia.
Boy was she spot on for our day. Driver picked us up at our hotel, lovely driver. He drove us to Orvieto where we met our guide for our day.
We walked around Orvieto, ate, drank and then our driver picked us up and took us to another town to visit Civita di Bagnoregio. Wow, is all I can say. It’s a must see. So much to see in Italy besides Rome people.
Once we spent more than two hours here due to wind and rain our driver picked us back up and then proceeded to drive us to Civitavecchia where we spent the night in order to board our cruise ship the next day.
This whole day was pre planned for months with Mary Roma and wow she delivered everything we could have hoped for in our trip.
I personally would never use anyone else. The driver was extremely friendly, polite, talkative and felt like our friend after the entire day.

What is an acceptable tip for the driver at €45? I am in the process of booking a ride now. Looks like there a great service. looks like a reliable company.

They say you don't have to tip in Italy, but I am from New York and I tip everyone. I would tip 10 euros.
