My 19 year old son, his girlfriend and I booked the 3 hour walking food tour and it was a wonderful experience. We toured a neighborhood market where we sampled all types of local food (figs, melon, meats, seafood, and much more). We also went to a wonderful cheese shop, a cafe etc. Our guide was very engaging and knowledgeable and I felt like we learned and tasted so much - we also shopped along the way. I highly recommend this tour because it felt compleatly tailored for us.

We had a great 3 hour walking tour that took us to a Sicilian bakery, the Jewish Ghetto and a stop for true Roman pizza. When it started raining, we asked our guide to find us a bar where we could hide out with some cocktails and aperol spritzs' and she was happy to oblige! We munched on some cicchetti and waited out the weather. She was knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhoods and also provided great insight into Roman living. A wonderful experience and a great way to see and taste things that, otherwise, we would've missed.

Don’t hesitate if you like good food and good wine! Lots of good addresses, good advice and insider information. Your individual tastes and interests will also be taken into account… A very enjoyable way to spend the morning indeed!

My wife and I were in Rome with another couple looking to do a walking dinner food tour only to find out every company was closed during the time we were there. I had been emailing Gabriele back and forth trying to find an alternative and ultimately after a huge effort on her part she came back to me with an option to do a private tour with someone she had found. My group were all big food and wine people and all I can say it was amazing and totally exceeded all our expectations. Not only did Gabriele go beyond the call of duty for me on this she also gave me other fabulous recommendations for other restaurants in Rome that blew us all away. I can't thank her enough for all she did and highly recommended Tavole to anyone traveling to Rome.

Ho partecipato ad un evento organizzato da Tavole Romane Food Tours che prevedeva la visita di Villa Farnesina alla scoperta dei capolavori di Raffaello in essa contenuti e dei numerosi aneddoti (I piatti d'argento buttati fuori dalla finestra da Agostino Chigi e prontamente recuperati tramite un sistema di reti dai suoi inservienti).
Tutto è stato impeccabile dalla visita alla villa, organizzata magistralmente dalla guida di esperienza pluriennale, al brunch preparato da Cristina Bowerman presso Glass Hostaria. Formula azzeccatissima ed esperienza sicuramente da ripetere, alla scoperta di un'altra zona della città.

A distanza di anni mi ritrovo a partecipare ad un tour grazie alla mia azienda. Conoscendo il format pensavo di non rimanere cosi entusiasta di condividere questo tipo di esperienza con i colleghi. Ed invece durante il giro, grazie ai luoghi visitati ed al cibo assaggiato ho scoperto di avere tante affinità culinarie con i miei compagni di lavoro. Esperienza assolutamente da ripetere questa dei Food Tours!

Christina our guide was informative and lots of fun. We loved the market tour and had the option of buying food for later use. The beer tasting was fun and a much needed rest. We had a traditional Roman lunch with the best tiramisu I have ever eaten.

For foodies and anyone else who wants to discover (or rediscover) Rome…with a stuffed pizza or a handmade suppli in his hands!!! Tavole Romane is a qualified food blog... BUT NOT ONLY!!!!! ... I find the food tour a truly GREAT IDEA to spent time in discovering and rediscovering the city... while eating something good!! Definitely and highly recommended!!!!!

Hi dipsydodo, I'm Gabriele Tavole Romane co-founder, thank you for your interest in our food tours.
In this period we run only private tailored food tours, upon request via message or email.
We are currently updating website area dedicated to the tours, sorry for this.
Anyway you may read TripAdvisor reviews and some independent articles, e.g. recently on Condé Nast Traveler. We are not allowed to include the link here, but you may find it easily searching via google.
