The tour was a very good mix of food and wine throughout the night. The guide was lackluster but the other guests and spot made the tour worth it.

Fantastic tour, well worth it!
We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Alina was fantastic, very knowledgeable and personable! The food was fantastic!

My husband and I decided to check out the Rome Food Tour and we were not disappointed! We visited four local food establishments to try various wines, cheeses, and meats. Additionally, we had terrific pasta, a pizza-style sandwich, and gelato. Our hostess, Octavia was fabulous! She was informative and engaging! We would definitely do another food tour to experience other neighborhood local favorites.

Delicious & Educational Food Walking Tour in Trastevere

We took Carson’s walking food tour on Sept 12th. The group of about a dozen of us was shown to four restaurants. Carson’s choices were excellent and he is very engaging and caring for his clients who may have food allergies, etc. He explains each dish and describes the wines that he has chosen to pair with each entree. We were very full by the end and very happy. The tour was a highlight of our trip to Rome. We would all heartily recommend this tour and especially Carson.

Well worth it! Our guide, Monica, was fantastic. The food was great and the group dynamics were so much fun. Highly recommend the tour.

Great way to dine in Rome!

Gianna was the perfect guide! She was knowledgeable and fun. She got my husband to try foods he otherwise wouldn’t have. We loved discovering places we wouldn’t have gone alone. The food and wine were plentiful and delicious. Great tour. Would highly recommend!!

The supplí was my favorite food of the night, and the other food was great too. The guide was really knowledgeable and attempted to make conversation with everyone in the group as well as give us a ton of information about Rome and Trastevere more specifically. I would recommend!

The Roman Food Tour in Trastevere

Just back from our first night in Rome where we had a terrific culinary experience with Lana (our wonderful hostess)…. We booked this to get an appreciation for some neighborhood food experiences and were not disappointed. Lana was a great guide and did a superb job explaining local food nuances and history. Highly recommend this excursion!
