Our tour guide, Daniela, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was our tour guide for both Colosseum/Rome Forum and Vatican museum. Although it was hot and crowded (especially in Vatican) during our visit, she made the tour so enjoyable. She was also very good at engaging my two children (9 and 13 Y). All of us had a wonderful time. I highly recommend Daniela and ICON tours for anyone visiting Rome.

Our tour guide, Daniela, was excellent and would recommend her to anyone taking a tour with Icon. We had a large group of 14 with ages of 3 to 74 and Daniela did a great job moving at a reasonable speed and getting the young children involved so they enjoyed the stories as well. The use of a picture book and iPad separates ICON from other tour companies I've used in the past. Daniela even gave us a recommendation for lunch afterwards and walked us to the place and made sure we were setup with a table before leaving us. Would recommend ICON to anyone visiting Rome.

Daniella's wealth of knowledge was only matched by her personality and flexibility to accommodate our schedule and inclement weather. Daniella was our guide for our Vatican tour, the coliseum tour, ancient Rome, the catacombs and a host of other must see attractions. We cannot say enough about Daniella and her incredible personality and knowledge. I highly recommend Daniella and ICON tours for any trip to Rome.

My Fiancè and I took this tour today with Icon Tours. We couldn't speak highly enough of it and especially our guide Danni. She was fantastic, providing us with detailed and interesting knowledge while at the same time remaining fun and engaging. She was never overwhelming and gave people time to take in the sights. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would have no hesitation on recommending it to others looking for a comprehensive yet laid back tour of Rome's historical sights.

We have used this tour group for 8+ tours in Italy. The groups have ranged from age 9 to 70 and everyone enjoyed the tours and the guides. We had the opportunity to have Daniela as our tour guide in 2015 and agin in 2017! On our second trip we had additional family members and she did a great job expanding even more on the tour we had had previously! My daughter (a tween this most recent trip) was thrilled to have Daniela again.
Before the trip they provide very detailed meeting instructions and maps. They are highly responsive with any questions you may have. You will feel very confident using them.
I highly recommend this tour group - wish they were in every City we travel to!

In early August 2017, we took an afternoon tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. This was our first time using ICON Tours and were impressed. There were four people in our group and we all had a great experience. There was a little confusion at the meeting point because several tour groups all meet at the same place so bring your printout. Our tour guide, Guissippe Iommazzo was absolutely amazing! He spoke perfect English and was very funny. He kept things interesting for us, but he also took his time explaining things. I recommend Guissippe very highly!
Women must have their shoulders and knees covered. We saw several people turned away because of this. Also, once you exit St. Peter's Basilica you will see the Swiss Guards. Don't waste your time waiting for a ceremonial "changing of the guards." It was pretty uneventful.

I own a small Italy consulting company. I have used Icon Tours for quite a few years and always receive rave reviews about them. The consistent high quality of their guides is always complemented. The website is easy to use and the process is very efficient from beginning to end. Don't hesitate, use this company for your tours in Italy and elsewhere.

This is the second time I have booked Icon tours! Incredible value for the money, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful guides. If you want a personal experience, Icon is the way to go!

We had such an amazing experience with our tour guide Daniella from Icon tours. We did 3 different private tours in Rome and loved all of them. She gave us just the right amount of information and was never overwhelming. We skipped all the crazy line ups as well. I highly recommend this.

Hi, I regret that Icon Tours is not yet offering tours in Greece. However, we are making plans for the future with tours in Athens, Paris and London. As of now we are operating in Venice, Florecne, Lisbon, Barcelona, and Rome
Please check back with us in the future, and I hope that we may be able to provide a tour for you in another city.
