After seeing the oratory near this (that of St. John which is wonderful) it is worth visiting it, it is still fascinating and contains a large nativity scene made by F. Brandani, a monumental work made of stucco

...on a visit to Urbino!!...I could not miss to go and see this spectacular Oratory of San Giuseppe!!...which is said to be one of the most fascinating buildings in the city!!...full of history and art!!...and is located in Via Barocci!!...and the structure was commissioned by the Franciscan father Gerolamo Recalchi from Verona!!...but with a strong financial contribution from Duke Guidobaldo I da Montefeltro !!...and his wife Elisabetta Gonzaga!!!...over the centuries for various problems!!...has undergone various renovations and restorations!!!...I visited this beautiful Oratory of San Giuseppe!!...the Church has a single nave!!...but with many decorative frescoes!!...to be amazed!!...of considerable importance the eighteenth-century works of the Urbino painter...Carlo Roncalli!!...frescoes on the walls and on the vault!!...the four paintings on the side walls are depicted scenes of the life of St. Joseph!!...but a truly exceptional work!!...is the famous nativity scene by Brandani!!...called the Chapel of the Nativity Scene!!!...which has also survived the renovation of the structure!!...a beautiful nativity scene!!...which seems inserted into a cave!!!...thanks to the tuff and pumice stone cladding!!!...this particular environment has been created!!!!!...to be enchanted!!!!...currently the Oratory of San Giuseppe...is also used for some religious celebrations!!!...events and concerts!!!!️

We loved it, much more than the other very close to San Giovanni. We were fascinated, and especially the nativity scene dug in the tuff left us amazed at so much bellezza.Even my 5-year-old daughter, was enchanted.

Although it is considered inferior compared to the other oratory 20 meters away, we liked it a lot. The nativity scene is very beautiful

Fratello molto minore dell'oratorio di San Giovanni, é interessante ma non direi imperdibile. Unica opera notevole, a mio parere, la Madonna sulla porta della sala del presepe

A 20m dall'oratorio di San Giovanni si trova l'oratorio di San Giuseppe. All'interno è possibile ammirare la chiesa affrescata, un presepe in stucco e altre chicche.

Stupendo oratorio, piccolo gioiellino in una via secondaria di Urbino. Vale davvero la pena visitarlo, acquistando il biglietto combinato con il poco distante oratorio di San Giovanni.
