Another outstanding tour with Bluone!. This was our fourth tour with them. Marcello and Raffa never disappoint. This time, we brought friends along and joined another couple who we had met on a previous Bluone tour. This was the Friuli tour and it was magical. We are all serious wine fans and this tour was off the charts. There were several cases of wine purchased and shipped back to the US. Even with shipping, the total price was favorable given the extreme value of the excellent wines produced in this region. The small towns were not only historical, but beautiful and Udine is incredible. Marcello takes pride in selecting the best hotels, local tour guides, restaurants and wineries. If you are a seasoned Italy visitor, don't hesitate to go. If its your fist time in Italy, this will spoil you forever! Thanks Bluone.

As a kick-off to traveling again, we had a short stay in the region of three nights. Bluone arranged a fabulous three-day agenda for wine tasting in two very diverse wineries, a great tour of parmigiano reggiano making and tasting, balsamic making and tasting, lunches, dinners, and a few other fun surprises. Bluone is, by far, the best tour experience for Italy - always perfecting the experiences of the traditional foods, wines, and local customs for guests.

We enjoyed our walking tour with locals Raffaella and Marcello, touring central Bologna's food stores, stalls and providers. We learnt about the origin, composition and traditions associated with authentic Bolognese cuisine - from the simplest everyday meals, to special events and holidays. R&M are clearly proud of how local fresh ingredients produce the best food of the Emilia Romana region. We stopped for a light lunch of local meats and cheeses, and topped it off with a artisan gelato! We'd recommend spending time with Bluone.

I can’t say enough about what a great week this was! This is the very best way to have what felt like a genuine Italian experience. It’s billed as a food tour, but it felt like so much more. Marcello and Raffaella Tori, our hosts for the week, were nice enough to limit the group to just our family of five and we had a blast (really good time).
Every day was packed with activities and everything was included in the tour price. Hotel was fabulous and well located in central Bologna and we were transported all over the Emilia–Romagna region of northern Italy. Food was delicious and plentiful (pace yourself), and we got to help prepare a lot of it ourselves. Learned so much and fell in love with all the Italian people we met. Do this!

This region in the extreme Northeast region of Italy, bordering Slovenia, is not well known to American travelers, but we found it charming with an abundance of delightful wines from small farms. As usual, Bloune had done their homework and took our small group (3 couples) to meet delightful and talented local producers of wine, food and art.
We stayed the entire time in Udine, in a comfortable hotel (be sure to ask at check-in if you prefer air conditioning)with a driver collecting us each morning for the day’s excursion to wineries, historic sites and wonderful meals. A day trip to Spillembergo, home to an internationally renowned mosaic school, was especially interesting.
The cooking lesson featured frico, a regional dish made from riced potatoes and grated montasio cheese, a dish I guarantee we’ll be making the first cold night we have.
We loved the wines. The whites were as good as expected in this region and the reds a delightful surprise. And then there was the white merlot, something wonderful.
This is the perfect trip for people who love Italy in all its diversity, and don’t like crowds. Bravo, Bluone.

It was wonderful to once again be with Marcello and Raffaella on another of their specialized gastronomic tours in Italy. This time in Friuli-Venezia-Giulia.Their ability to find secluded, small, family operated enterprises always amazes us. That fact along with their engaging personalties is what makes touring Italy with Bluone so special. We've traveled with Bluone on five other occasions, in various regions of Italy, all unique. This region is known as the gastronomical cradle of Italy, and this tour did not disappoint. There were lessons with chefs , Hands on demonstrations with Italian "mamas", parmesan making facilities, and Parma prosciutto making. The rolling countryside is breathtaking, and the views from mountaintop castles unbelievable.
Friendly, knowledgeable , accommodating owners, Marcello and Raffaella, treat you like family and immediately make you comfortable.The dining is first class and usually of regional specialties.
Do not pass up this opportunity.

Our days with Bluone, Marcello and Raffa, were EXACTLY what we hoped for!
You can be confident in your choice to trust Bluone with your travel and tour needs.
Before our trip to Emilio-Romagna we did some research on the types of activities that met our interests for this family vacation; a food and wine experince mixed with local cultural tours is what we wanted. We found many previous reviews and write-ups Bluone has received and decided to take a leap of faith and put our trust in Marcello. What we received was first class! Personal tour guides, private transportation, great accommodations, incredible food, never ending glasses of wine and a week that we will never forget. This vacation was a trip I have dreamed of for many years. Marcello's professionalism and incredible travel and tourism spirit, made this dream a reality.
We did many excellent Bluone Bologna based experiences: Parmigiano, Balsamico, Truffle Hunting, Specially Vineyards, Bologna Food and Culture Tour, Ravena Food and Culture Tour, Pasta Class with Raffa, Gelato University, Ferrari and Lamborghini Tours.
I recommend them ALL!

A indimenticabili day!
Unforgettable day with Marcello the moment we meet him and his driver. Else at 2pm.
Spent the afternoon on a food/cooking and wine tour organised by Marcello and family with my sisters.
1st stop was on Pedro’s vineyard tasting his organic wine. Excellence host and the wine and prosciutto was magnificent.
we meet Mama Elena learn the secret of cooking the famous homemade ragu.
We learnt how to make pasta and other famous Italian dishes.
Finally we all sat down into for dinner alfresco in Elena breathtaking farm and lovely conversation.
The farmhouse and view was magnificent.
Else the driver was fantastic.
Highly recommend to anyone thinking of wine and food tour.

My husband, Bill and I were very lucky to celebrate our 25th anniversary in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region with the introduction of a new tour program by Bluone. What a wonderful treat to be able to explore an area of Italy that is not on the radar of most visitors! As usual, our hosts put together a schedule that incorporated local history, food and wine, and the services of a tour guide/interpreter , including a very knowledgeable and personable van driver . Some destinations included unique interests such as paper making and calligraphy, mosaics, coastal trail, and of course, we had many interactions with winery and restaurant owners, chefs, prosciutto maker, etc. And true to the reputation of this region for the best white wine, we enjoyed a wide variety from the wineries that we visited. If you have experienced other Bluone tours, this one will delight you as it did with us. And if you haven't, you are missing a genuine Italian experience organized by a couple who put much effort to make the travel experience unique and memorable. .. (including helping me sneak behind Bill's back to ship home some wines ! )

thank you for contacting us. Bluone offers several different tours -day trips or more day tours in different areas of Italy- so it is not clear what tour price you would like to know.
All tours and prices are listed in our website.
In our website you can find as well a request form to inquire about a tour.
If you want to book a tour we need to receive the booking form signed and a deposit. We email a booking form, depending on the tour that you have selected.

Bluone organizza tour enogastronomici anche personalizzati in Bologna, Emilia Romagna ed altre regioni italiane. 12 Hours in Bologna consiste in una passeggiata guidata nel mercato centrale di Bologna con spiegazione dei prodotti più importanti. Nel pomeriggio prepariamo insieme pasta ed altri piatti tradizionali della regione, che assaggeremo durante la cena.
I gruppi sono molto piccoli (2-5 persone al massimo) e il prezzo è di Euro 230 per persona.
la disponibilità è su richiesta e non è possibile la domenica ed altri giorni festivi.
