“Combination parmesan production and auto museum”

Combination parmesan production and auto museum

I am not so interested in automobiles but we decided to go because of the combination with parmesan production. In any event, there is a hall with cars, mostly Maseratis, some motorcycles (some interesting designs) and a few bicycles. Outside there are tractors as well but not in very good condition. The founder of the museum also has a dairy farm for the manufacture of parmesan cheese. Cows raised for parmesan production, unfortunately never see the fields but are solely fed in barns. Our understanding is that the crop yields from forage are three times the amount that cows can graze and hence it is cheaper to keep them confined.

Il museo storico per eccellenza, auto da sogno, moto eccezionali, titolare gentile e cordiale, l'esposizione è su due piani, si vive la storia dei motori e all'esterno c'è una sfilata di trattori d'epoca e di ogni tipo.
Assolutamente da vedere.

Panini/Maserati car and motorcycle museum

Panini/Maserati car museum is located on a working dairy farm. So if you smell manure, you’re not lost; you’re close. So it also has the added benefit of if you wanted to see how a dairy farm worked, you can see one up close and personal. The museum is located in the last cow barn on the left.

Worth the visit!

It is a well maintained museum tucked away with a good amount to see; entry is free with voluntary donations accepted. Worth the visit for car, motorbike and tractor enthusiasts!

Letztlich hat Umberto Panini recht getan, dass diese tollen Maserati nicht in London verscherbelt wurden, sondern dort sind, wo sie hingehören.
Ein Muss für jeden Autofan.

Beautiful place, Beautiful cars and beautiful trip!

One of the most interesting things in Modena. Beautiful collection of cars, motorbikes and bicycles. There's also free entrance (some People will like it). For me it's even more interesting than Ferrari museum. Must see in Modena.

Imprescindible!

Un imprescindible si te gusta el motor. Muchos vehículos bellísimos y exclusivos, incluyendo algunos conducidos por Fangio o Stirling Moss. La entrada es gratuita. También hay muchas motocicletas.

Está en un entrono rural y hay una vaquería (no matan a las vacas, solo dan leche, y están muy bien cuidadas) también propiedad de Panini, el de los cromos.

Visitamos casi todos lo museos de automóviles y este es de los mejores.

A highlight for Maserati, history and Panini fans!

This is the place you must see if you like cars, history and Maserati. This very unique private museum is owned and run by one of Paninis sons. He was present at the time we visited. This collection of old and newer cars is amazing! The building inside is very historic too and gives you the feeling of being part of the good old times.
We learned a lot and spent quite some time there. The collection not only consists of cars but also motorcycles, farmer trucks (outside), pictures and prices Panini won during his career.
Modena isn't very special to go see but this lovely unique museum definately is! Entry free of charge but donations are welcome.

Accueillis par un des frères Panini, gardien du temple. J'ai été intéressé plus par les motos dont quelques pièces rares comme une moto à moteur rotatif. Il est dommage que les motos ne disposent pas d'une fiche signalétique permettant d'identifier les pièces et de les dater avec précision. A prévoir pour le nouveau musée... Dans un lieu moins improbable...
