当我们进入热那亚市中心的圣洛伦佐大教堂时，我们充满了敬畏之心。入场免费，艺术作品非常震撼。天花板上的装饰就是杰作。这是热那亚最好的历史景点。强烈推荐每个人都来参观。不要错过！！！！

钟楼楼梯绝对是一颗隐藏的宝石——当你进入时就在右手边(花费5欧元)——所以值得一试。大教堂的内部景色(从中间的楼层)很棒，屋顶顶部景色也是如此。很高兴我决定了走楼梯。

上午出来闲逛，逛到了大教堂。好好放松一下自己，沐浴着阳光，在广场上喝一杯卡布奇诺，吃一顿简餐，或者喝一杯红酒，欣赏巴洛克建筑壮丽的外墙。直到下午2点，教堂再次开门。进去参观，好好欣赏教堂内部，12世纪的壮丽的教堂。Genoa必去的景点。不需要门票。

I have read that a procession celebrating the birthday of John the Baptist begins at the cathedral on 6/24/18 and ends at the Porto Antico on 6/24/18. Does anyone have any info on what other events might be happening that day or about interesting
venues somewhere along the route?

First of all, the aquarium. It's one of the biggest aquariums in Europe! Then you can see Porto Antico, with a Renzo Piano's sculpture and a huge ancient ship. There's also the Galata, the Sea Museum!
