Spectacular building in Genoa. A building that goes from 1600 to 1800, with sumptuous interiors and decorations, p among other things famous for having hosted the Savoy in their stay in Genoa. The staff with us was very welcoming and helpful.

Lovely palace housing works of art from Van Dyck among others. Impressive gallery of mirrors and throne room.
After entering the palace at ground level, you have to walk up a few flights of bland staircases which are not that impressive but once you enter the palace it's very impressive.
It's apparently one of Italy's most treasured palaces.

Among the attractions of Genoa, this palace is definitely worth a visit. The palace is very nice, sumptuous. There are comfortable explanatory panels in the rooms. The cost of the ticket per adult is 12 euros (honest considering that with the same ticket you can visit Palazzo Spinola). At the ticket office, the lady was very friendly; a little less the other one who checked the tickets. The bathrooms were very very dirty, despite the low flow of tourists. Time taken for the visit: about 1.5 hours/2.

City palace of noble family and at some time inhabited by the royal family. Baroque interior. Beautiful sea view galleries. Opulent banquet hall. Beautiful pebble mosaic in the garden, to be viewed from the roof terrace. Necessary restoration in progress.

The museums in Via Balbi are later than those in the centre and Via Garibaldi and often house university facilities. The Royal Palace can be visited and, like Palazzo Bianco, Rosso and Tursi, is interesting both for the gardens and for the interiors, rich in works of art, furnishings and original environments. Here, in particular, stayed the Savoy visiting Genoa at the time of the Kingdom of Sardinia. Free admission on Sundays

A recommended visit to a palace full of history that sees its first section built in about 1600 and several extensions until the late 1800s. For those interested in history it is a beautiful place and can also be visited for free on certain dates.

The museum allows a visit to the apartment on the main floor, which has remained intact with the furnishings and paintings, as well as the additions made by the Savoy when they bought (at a bargain price) the palace, which is the largest among the ancient Genoese noble residences. Spectacular the Gallery of Mirrors and the courtyard redesigned by Carlo Fontana in the 18th century

It is probably a royal palace of the least named but it has been a World Heritage Site since 2006 with the 41 rolli of Genoa.
It is worth visiting with an hour is more than enough.
It consists of the historic residence of the garden and its pinatoneca the gallery of the Royal Palace.
Built by the Balbi family.

Wonderful place to visit when in Genoa. The ceilings and artwork are so beautiful. You really get the feeling that you are back in time and every room has something different to offer. The bedrooms are stunning and the outside garden floors are unbelievable, make sure when you are upstairs you look out from above to see the full picture of the artwork to the flooring. I can 100% recommend you visit this place when in Genoa. I also filmed my experience on my YouTube channel vickisworldtravel if anyone is interested. The fresco on the ceilings are outstanding.

It would be a fantastic square but the overlooked view left there alone to itself All around is definitely clean and people stop to admire the architecture that surrounds it but it is off I would say triste.Fontana off and the premises of years ago elegant and historic were sold to mussel run by non-EU citizens.... That's too bad.
