An awesome day of biking around Lake Como. The staff at Como Lago Bike were super helpful and our guide Marco was AMAZING. So skilled and attentive. Our family of 5 (including kids age 22, 20 and 17) really enjoyed the outing. Our only advice is that unless you are an experienced biker, go with the e-bike. There are a few very steep climbs!

Very efficient process. During initial interactions my texts were always promptly answered. When I arrived the bike I had chosen was waiting there for me. I chose to do self-guided trips, but the hints and maps provided me, gave me a good opportunity to plot out four daily routes. I covered 300km and 3000m+ around lakes Como and Lugano. All enjoyable. Highly recommended.

If we could give 6 stars we would! A highlight of our holiday so far.
We did a 60km bike/e-bike tour with Alberto & had a great time. A Spectacular way to see Lake Como!! The scenery is incredible!!!!
Alberto was very friendly and gave us good information about the area.
Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys bike riding and the outdoors!
We also had a great experience with the woman at the desk (sorry we forgot your name!)

Incredible experience with Alberto. The reservation process, communication from Simone and guided tour were the highlight of our trip to Como. The bike options were incredible and the guided tour and ride to the Ghisallo were a memory of a lifetime!

This was a great way to see Bellagio ! Was our first time on an electric bike and now we are hooked . Easy to ride and similar to a regular bike, but comes in very very handy when riding up hills.
Our guide was wonderful and truly a great experience . Would recommend this to all.

What a way to see Bellagio thanks Luca! We felt very safe and the e-bikes make touring so easy. Amazing places and views that most tourists don’t get to see followed by a lovely apperitivo with spectacular views

Notre guide Luca a bien préparé le tour, tenu compte du niveau des participants et de la météo mauvaise et très changeante: Parco San Marco, Lago di Piano, Menaggio, retour par Carlazzo.

In un paesaggio incantevole, è fantastico poter affittare biciclette di livello super, ma soprattutto avere la possibilità di essere accompagnati da guide cosi preparate e competenti in una giornata unica.

Dear Doclinn thanks: website is comolagobike
we provide both group tours with shorter rides of about 60 km leaving every day around 9:30 AM or Custom guided tours with one of our guides - Longer rides on itineraries to agree with you and your expectations. Third level is the ride with the Champion, a custom guided tour with Alberto Elli, our cycling manager and former pro rider, wearing yellow jersey at the Tour de France for 4 days in 2000. He rode Tour the France 12 years.

Doclinn thanks... flat is sometimes a bit hard to say here: relatively flat would be better to describe us.
If you stay along the lake you have few up and downs, let's say hilly........... the back side, which is even the more interesting is to climb and gain... did you ever think about eBikes??? you pedal, enjoy the spinning and explore in a safe easy way if you are not use to climbs. we have wonderful bottecchia Emtb providing rides of about 80 km....

We do not have children seats, sorry! Due to the mountainous terrain and lack of pure cycle paths, we do not recommend putting toddlers on the back of our rental bikes. Thank you for your question!

Are the bike trails clearly marked and easy to navigate without a guide?

MTB trails are marked well, however, it is very difficult to create a route on your own as there are many possibilities and many different trails to take. We definitely recommend a guide so you don't get lost.
As for road biking, some routes are pretty easy to navigate, but as the other traveller stated above, a guide will take you on secondary roads and share the culture and history with you!
