Very helpful, simple process with clear rules ie the fuel policy is leave the car back full. The car comes with the necessary paperwork to allow driving in Switzerland , and the mileage allowance is 250 Kim’s per day. Highly recommend this hire firm.

We hired a scooter for two days from Barindelli and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We used it for some exploring in the mountains and it was perfect for nipping about on etc. I didn't have much experience on a motorcycle but that wasn't a problem and was soon up to speed and had a great time. Would definitely use again if I visit Como in future.

Very nice place and the lady who checked us out was great. We drove (Daughter in back) about 100 kilometers for the day. It was great and we enjoyed it. Took the route from Bellagio to Como up the west side, then took the ferry back to Bellagio and drove down the east side of the peninsula. I recommend it highly.

Mariasole was accomodating, helpful and generous. She equipped us with a Fiat Panda along with GPS
And map. Great local treasures to visit like Civenna and La Punta.
Best seafood on the island and a bella veduta. Indimenticabile!!!

Mariasole was very helpful. Gave us some great ideas for our day trip around the Lake Como area. Picking up car was quick and easy. Recommend getting the smallest car you can - the roads are very narrow, but great to drive on.

We rented a car from there. Manager speaks good english and was very helpful. She recommended a places to visit and showed us what ferrys to use. Clean car and very good service. Thank you!

Fast and easy service. Staff is fluent in several languages incl. English and German. Barindelli offer Kymco 125cc. We would have had preferred Vespas, but in the end the Kymcos did the trick, as they have bigger wheels which made it easy to manoeuvre tight turns and uneven surfaces. Would rent from them again, any time.
One caveat with regard to the central location: we drove there by car, and ended up in a temporary restricted zone. Our mistake, we should have followed the signs.

Excellent equipment, quick process, good price. Mariasole gave great advice on where and how to go, even gave her cell number in case something went wrong. Nothing did. Combined with the beauty of Lake Como in perfect weather, what more could I want? Thanks.

We rented scooters for one day in October of this year. We were to rent them for both days but unfortunately due to rain this was not possible. The second day however Mariasole was there bright and early to hire us our bikes. She was absolutely lovely and went through all the paperwork with us and made quite sure we were comfortable with our bikes and had all we needed. She gave us maps and guided us through what she thought would be some great routes and we had the best day scootering around. I absolutely recommend this company to anyone who wants a convenient and exciting way to explore this amazing place.
Barendelli are very easy to find and located just up from the lake.
Enjoy :) You wont regret it.

Was the scooter rented by you able to climb steep grades with two passengers? I'm staying in Varenna and the east side of the lake has some breath taking roads into the mountains. I need to know if the scooters have enough torque to climb a 10+ deg grade. Please advise
