What a great neighborhood to simple stay, walk around , shop around and eat!! We just loved it! Close by everything. Easier to walk then to take the metro or any other transport… simple just walk around and enjoy!

Nice neighbourhood to walk around plenty of shops and restaurants.
Here we visited Debbie’s coffee shop cafe which was really good and we’d recommended it with super friendly service. Also we went to Osteria Da fortunata a great pasta place and worth a visit.
It’s not a huge area so doesn’t take long to explore.

Known as the artists’ quarter for its charm and for having grown up around the Academy of Fine Arts. To walk it from le Duomo, it is considered by many as the most charming area of the city. Design, fashion, bars, art....the artists who have helped transform it into the cultural district of the city. Getting lost in the streets is more than enough to feel the rhythm of this area of Milan. You have to walk it and be permeable to its proposals, one more getaway in a city that distills design.

We enjoyed walking around Brera District. It is one of Milan's nicest areas. There are many lovely sights to see and numerous restaurants, but this time around we preferred to just window shop, enjoy the architecture and just laze about.

Very nice neighborhood and also posh to walk whole. Many brand shops and restaurants. The most recognized with their large ranks but others so good without problems to access.

I can't fathom why this is rated well. Reminds me of Greenwich Village, once arty, now just expensive trendy. If you want the Pinoteca, fine. Otherwise boring.

The Brera district is one of the central districts of Milan made of shops and views. It 'pleasant to walk there and spend time relaxing. Easily accessible by public transport.

A neighborhood with lots of charm!! It is like an oasis apart from the bustle of Milan, and that is close to the Duomo!
Lots of terrace to eat, gladly!!
In this neighborhood is the Palazzo de Brera, which was for 200 years Jesuit school and today is a pinacoteca, housing some of the most interesting works of Italian art!!!

It will be busy in the evening but there is a solid mix of locals and tourists enjoying fine food in great restaurants. You will not feel as mobbed by tourists as you will in many other locations

Здравствуйте, на самом деле там масса кафе, я не запоминала особо названия, но могу сказать, что лучше немного удалиться от основного пешеходного потока и можно найти хорошее место. Смотрите где местные сидят и поменьше туристов)

Cinco amigas y yo nos vamos a Milan del 15 al 18 de Marzo a celebrar los 40 años. Tenemos muy poco tiempo, pero Nuestra idea es llegar sobre las 19:00 a Milan y dar una vuelta para tomar el "aperitivo " y una buena cenita. Nos podéis recomendar algún sitio? He visto que Brera y Navigli son zonas con mucho ambiente y mucha oferta gastronómica.

En Brera los precios son más altos que en los Navigli. En el Naviglio Grande me gustó mucho un sitio de cocina de fusión milanesa y romana que se llama Il Ponte Rosso.

Planning a family trip to Milan later this summer. Can anyone name some areas within Brera that are good pedestrian areas to take a stroll for restaurants, shopping and the open market? Can't seem to identify them on a map anywhere. Appreciate any help.

Brera is not that big. You can find the center of activity along via Fiori Chiari but every street near that one has some appeal for people watching and food. Go 2-3 streets in any direction and there is more. Via Madonnina is a shortcut coming from Via Broletto
