That's really funny. Very good food. Very kind staff and fast service. Beautiful music in a quiet and pleasant environment.

SUPER experience!!!
€35 and good but above all PLENTY of food!
It's a dance hall, it's obvious that you won't find Cracco or Barbieri but the price is balanced for 1 first course + 1 second course + dessert + water + wine!
But when in Milan?
I see a thousand comments on Anton Ego as if people were expecting who knows what Michelin star from a dance hall, which instead proved to be (as we thought) simple but absolutely beautiful in its simplicity, alive and cheerful!
The envelope at the beginning for the advance payment of the bill? But who cares! (Which was then withdrawn at the end of the meal and not at the beginning as a thousand food/bon ton etiquette critics accuse so much in previous comments)
Beautiful and fun Swing evening!
I'll definitely be back!

Very special evening, absolutely informal place... even more so, but it was what we expected, the dinner was nothing special but we danced and sang at the top of our lungs and had fun

Really sloppy place, they ask for money in cash bartering with bottles of very low quality sparkling wine (if you pay like this, I'll give you these)
For me it's a money laundering place, once you take the money you no longer exist, zero receipts, zero receipts. And who knows why finance never enters these places.
Very bad
Shed with stuck tables and plastic glasses, rancid wine (they bring the bottles to you already open!!)
They stuff you full of terrible stuff, 35 euros VAT free and I say goodbye

Lively and cheerful atmosphere. Between children and boomers, fun guaranteed. Appreciable quality food (in line with expectations for an easy-going place), no-frills service (grim), house wine. Great musical performance by the band, elite karaoke, unparalleled frontman. Considering dinner and after dinner included, 35 euros well spent. “Do these things exist in Finland?” Final doubt of the singer.

The venue is nice, well-kept and suitable for dancing (large outdoor floor).
The seats are sufficiently spaced from each other,
Efficient, friendly and helpful staff.
An ideal place for those who want to have fun and spend carefree moments
with friends and/or relatives.
Prices are average, spartan menu typical of trattorias but the primary objective is not the cuisine.
Wide access, no architectural barriers.
Definitely coming back, keep it up.

I confirm what was written in the previous review, but with the worsening of the quality: from very low it has dropped to seriously low. The wine decanted and re-bottled tastes like vinegar. The food is very expensive and of vomiting quality. The burnt coffee. The claim of wanting to be paid between the first and second. Lack of receipt. People crowded together on tables. I hope they never take me there again.

Very bad experience: rude and inattentive staff. They came to ask us to pay cash at the table while we were eating the first course. Let's leave the forks and take the money.
The waitress starts counting the money (we were a table) placing it next to my plate of pasta.
The second waiter, however, while clearing the table, created a castle of dishes an inch from the nose of the person next to me, banging the plates one on top of the other.
Receipt not received.
We will never return.

A really nice August evening!
We went to the Balera dell'ortica with some friends on Friday evening and I must say that I will definitely go back!
I was a little reluctant given the negative reviews, but I honestly don't understand them and I agree.
It's true, the menu costs €35 and includes a first course, a second course, water, coffee and wine (one bottle for every 3 people). However, the food is of good quality and the atmosphere is family-like, the staff are very helpful and kind and dancing was a lot of fun.
Only suggestion: for €35 I would also add an appetizer (bruschetta/something to nibble on) and a dessert (we were offered some biscuits, but a real dessert would be better), otherwise everything was very nice! I recommend it for a different evening!
Finally, something absolutely not to be underestimated, there wasn't a mosquito!

€35 for a festival dinner and more than undrinkable wines. Then there's the music, that's a more subjective question.
If it cost €15 it would be appropriate, and give water instead of those unspeakable wines.

Se non si arriva troppo tardi ce la si fa. Altrimenti o ci si addentra nel quartiere (poca disponibilità), oppure ci si arrangia con un parcheggio non del tutto in regola
