The trip started off quite nicely, as we were met promptly at the starting point. Access to the train, and the discussion during the train ride was enlightening.
Once we arrived at Como, the pace, at which he lead, the tour was quite comfortable, and the information, history met all of our needs.
Our particular guide had actually lived in Como, and that was quite helpful I believe.
Choosing between this in the full day tour, I think we made the best choice. As we had time to just absorb the history and the environment after the tour was over, without being overly exhausted.
Once we arrived at Como, the pace, at which he lead, the tour was quite comfortable, and the information, history met all of our needs.

Our guide, KATERINA, showed us around. We were a group of 4 adults, a 1 year old and a 3 year old. She was also very kind to the children. She was very thorough in explaining details about Leonardo da Vinci's murals that are not talked about in books or on TV. It was a tour worth going even if it was a detour.

Everything ran smoothly and on time.
Our guide was very knowledgable about history and all the sights.

It took a while to find the sanctuary with the skulls & bones but once we did, it was amazing! Just unreal to see! And, it's worth hunting for!

Immer wieder eine Reise wert. Am Comersee gut aufpassen beim Autofahren, enge Gassen, kaum Parkplätze. Tolle Restaurants direkt am See. Die Zufahrten oft eng, kaum ersichtlich. Como selber ist eine facettenreiche Stadt

One of the most beautiful places we have visited! Breathtaking views and Perfect weather! Emilio was very knowledgeable about the artwork and the area. He made sure we had all the good views on the trains and ferry! He was an awesome tour guide for the day!

We have just returned from a fantastic tour of Como and the Lake. Our guide was Renzo who was very attentive and knowledgeable and kept us entertained with the history of the area on our one hour train journey. It was fascinating to hear all the stories about the buildings and different eras of architecture in Como. The boat ride really is worth doing as you get to see such beautiful views that you wouldn't otherwise. Thank you Renzo for a special day.

Our guide, Marika was extremely knowledgeable with an excellent command of English and pleasant manner. I especially liked her comparison of Da Vinci’s Last Supper with previous works by other artists, and her analysis of Da Vinci, his enormous talent and his other works. Marina’s background information to the Sforza castle was very interesting and also worth doing.

Our guide, Emilio, was wonderful. It was nice to have someone arrange tickets and point to where to go. Beautiful scenery and very interesting tour at Villa Carlotta. Good way to spend the day.

Hi, I booked a tour for Da Vinci's Last Supper and Sforza Castle Meuseums Private tour at 9:30am on Oct. 13th for 2 people. We arrive the day before by car at 1:30pm to our hotel, the Carlton Baglioni from Venice. We really also want to do a small group tour of the Duomo and La Scala Theatre, but doubt we would make the 1pm start time on the skip the line Duomo Cathedral and La Scala Theatre on Oct. 13th. Nor could we make that time on Oct 12th when we arrive. We could do the 3-6pm, but I wanted to take my Mom to an early sunset dinner at the Rinascente rooftop restaurant. I think one day of 6 hrs worth of tours, THEN dinner in a VERY busy restaurant is too much for an 86 yr old woman. Is there another alternative? How much would a private tour for 2 be of just the Duomo and La Scala Theatre for 2 hours? Or better yet, a small tour group for 2 hours? Say 2 - 4 or 3-5 or even half hour start times. Please advise. Deborah
