Nous avons loués mon épouse et moi même deux costumes pour 24h. Même si le choix était restreint en cette période de carnaval, on nous a trouvé 2 costumes de toute beauté. Le service est impeccable. Le personnel est très chaleureux, on voit qu'ils aiment ce qu'ils font. Une très belle expérience ensuite avec nos costumes dans les rues de Venise. Nous relouerons à la Bauta.

Breathtaking handmade made by local artists

Beautiful, handmade masks with a passionate & friendly owner! This shop made the mask buying experience fun and engaging, and the masks are absolutely breathtaking. We ended up getting a mask for everyone in our very large family, and it was worth every penny!

Love this shop staff very helpful willing to change colours on request so look out for the yellow cat mask in the future it might be a new staple. There is such a wide range of styles to choice from this time had steam punk traditional and our rare yellow cat. Very cool people.

Great experience overall if you are looking for masks in Venice.

We got into multiple shops with masks but La Bauta and the lady that was working there and helping us, won as straight away. We left for a walk into the city and then directly came back to buy our Venice masks.

There is a great variety of unique made masks, with great colours and breathtaking designs. The lady was very helpful and was helping us to choose or to know how we can get our masks back to our country.

All I have to say is that I would definitely not consider looking any other shop after our visit there and for sure we will be in contact with their online ways of selling masks for future use.

Très bien accueillie par une gentille dame qui parle très bien anglais et français. Elle a su me conseiller en fonction de mon budget sans me forcer pour autant à l’achat. Les masques sont faits mains et d’une grande qualité. La boutique est une expérience à elle seule tellement l’ambiance est prenante. Je recommande même juste pour le plaisir des yeux. Accueil incroyablement chaleureux.

Nous avons été merveilleusement accueilli par Roselia, elle a su nous conseiller et expliquer l’origine des différents masques vénitiens.
La qualité et l’originalité de ses produits nous a séduit .
Nous recommandons cette jolie boutique authentique et merci de nous avoir fait rêver le temps d’une visite.

Best costumes in Venice

La Bauta was a wonderful shop. It was the first mask shop we went into on our Venice trip, while we loved the selection, we weren't sure since it was our first stop. After walking through endless mask shops in Venice, it's safe to say La Bauta is the best.

We returned at the end of the day and bought 2 masks and a cloak. The woman that helped us was very nice and showed us lots of options. Great service, great pricing, and most importantly original pieces that stand out from the ordinary. La Bauta is a most stop for your costume needs.
