Io e la mia amica Mariangela, sotto consiglio di un amico sommelier , abbiamo avuto l'opportunità di visitare le tenute rubino e fare una degustazione di 4 vini ed un buonissimo olio evo di loro produzione. La simpaticissima Anna ci ha accolto calorosamente e ci ha mostrato le varie fasi di produzione e raccontato la storia dell'azienda. Il momento più bello è stato quando ci siamo sedute per la degustazione ed abbiamo scoperto una persona che mette il cuore in quello che fa e di una simpatia assoluta. I vini degustati sono stati tutti ottimi e molto contente , anche se con poco spazio in valigia, abbiamo portato qualcosa con noi. Visita e degustazione consigliatissimi, ancor di più se Anna sarà la vostra guida.

Siamo arrivati a Tenute Rubino prenotando la mattina per il giorno stesso. Non solo abbiamo trovato moltissima disponibilità, ma ad accoglierci c’era la gentilissima Anna, che con la sua professionalità ci ha accompagnati nella visita e nella fantastica degustazione. Che dire.. quando si mette passione e amore nel proprio lavoro si ottengono questi risultati: cantina bellissima e curata nel minimo dettaglio, vini di qualità eccellente (non a caso siamo rientrati con il baule pieno!). Un sincero grazie ad Anna che, con la sua cordialità, rappresenta davvero un valore aggiunto per questa cantina e ci ha fatti sentire come vecchi amici! Torneremo sicuramente!

Siamo stati da tenuta Rubino in quanto eravamo incuriositi dal loro famoso susumaniello. Direi che ne è valsa davvero la pena: Anna ci ha accompagnato in un tour della cantina spiegandoci tutto perfettamente. La degustazione si è poi tenuta nel loro locale sul lungo mare. Tutto bellissimo e buonissimo. Super consigliata!

We did the food pairing at Numero first, then returned for the winery tour. The only issue was finding the restaurant.... that was tricky!
Francesca did a wonderful job of serving us wine & food the Anna did a great job of the winery tour!
Would highly recommend this as a ‘must do’ in Brindisi!

Tenuto Rubino is a relatively young winery, established by a family of enterprising Pugliese. In addition to the well-known local Primitivo and Neroamaro grapes, they also grow some others, such as the unique Susumaniello, a real find.
English language tours are guided by Anna, who is both knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We opted to have the tasting coupled with a lunch, which was a very good idea. After we toured the cellar, we drove to their waterfront restaurant, where we had a lunch of local specialties paired with Rubino wine. Both were outstanding experiences that I recommend.

When we arrived at the winery we got the notification that the hostess was sick at home and she did not read our e-mail with the reservation. So we came to Brindisi for nothing.
Bad service, the lady at the reception was friendly but could not help us.

Dear Axel, thank you for taking your time to review our facility but we regret to inform you that our website form, the one you used to make a reservation, automatically informs our guests that following a request of a wine tour they will be contacted by a member of our staff for confirmation. You could not have received it since our responsible was sick and not at work. Unfortunately, that means that you showed up without confirmation one hour after your request. We are so sorry for that and willing to welcome you again for a wonderful cellar tour and tasting.

Sono passato con amici presso Tenute Rubino per prendere alcuni vini. La ragazza che ci ha accolto è stata gentilissima e sempre sorridente (qualità rara ormai) e ci ha illustrato tutta la panoramica dei vini Rubino. Abbiamo scelto il susumaniello e il primitivo. Vini davvero eccezionali. Complimenti!

I went for a cellar tour, wine tasting and food pairing. Fantastic experience! Anna who gave the cellar tour was so warm, friendly and knowledgeable and even guided me to Numero Primo for my wine tasting and food pairing. All of the wines I tried were amazing, and the staff explained them all very well too. Food pairings were on point, the bruschetta with stracciatella and anchovies was probably one of my favorite dishes I have ever had! There is so much history with this winery, definitely a must do while in Puglia!

Su consiglio di un amico siamo andati a visitare questa cantina. La nostra guida Anna ci ha accompagnati durante tutto il percorso della visita guidata, spiegandoci con passione e professionalità la storia dell'azienda e tutto il processo di vinificazione. Noi abbiamo deciso di concludere la visita guidata presso la loro vinoteca Numero Primo. I vini erano eccellenti e gli accostamenti con le pietanze locali davvero ricercati, il tutto con una vista mozzafiato sul porto di Brindisi. Assolutamente consigliato!

Don’t miss this tour when visiting Brindisi. We met Anna who gave us the history of the company and a very detailed and interesting guide of the factory. This was followed with wine and food at their Numero Primo restaurant. Top quality wines with lovely specially chosen food to accompany them. Our classic tour with 3 bottles of wine to sample (3 glasses each) with the food was only €25 each ! A big thank you to Anna

Kevin, It's about 134 kilometers. 1 hour and 32 minutes from Bari Airport. Look on Tripadvisor for pleasant stays in Brindisi.
You can book a tour on the site of Tenute Rubino with Angelo. He's the best and speaks very good Englisch aswell.
