We went in March, so very little in bloom, but still nice. Unfortunately, the map handed out at counter is confusing (implies access to nearby Boboli gardens is in lower left rather than upper right; apparently it was too much effort for the agent to clarify with, say, a pen.) Plus at one point in the poorly planned signage, it directs visitors downhill, then at the bottom directs them back up the same hill.
Btw, if you are heading to the nearby Boboli gardens, they are HUGE and worth the visit but signage is missing. You enter the gardens through the remains of an old palace, but as you approach the palace, there is no indication whatsoever that the gardens lie behind. Only as you approach the door, which is up a hill from the street, do you actually see, in small font, any mention of Boboli. Similarly, once inside there is some signage, but it is also lacking. Example: there are multiple signs directing you to a building housing lemon trees, but nothing to tell you when you are actually there.

Garden was average at best and I feel like the admission fee is overpriced for what is there. I also would have liked to know in advance how much of a climb it is to get to the view of Florence. If I had known, I would definitely have taken a pass on this one. Although I typically love gardens.

Overpriced and underwhelming.. You walk up a hill for a veiw. No cafe at top because its 'out of season' still had the nerve to charge full rate. Nice view of city from top. Kept expecting to discover something worthwhile. Iy nevwr happened. The place is tiny. Go to the garden Boboli at Pitti palace. Its much bigger

Très joli jardin. Pas très grand mais tellement pittoresque. En hauteur et avec un escalier central. Tres belles vues sur le panorama de Florence. Passer aussi par la villa Bardini.

Joli jardin plus intime que Boboli avec de belles vues sur Florence mais très en hauteur donc on ne peut pas voir l'Arno. Personnel pas spécialement agréable. Rien d'exceptionnel toutefois. Une petite préférence pour Boboli plus grandiose !

Fantastic escape from crowded Florence! Amazing view, beautiful nature. Entrance tickets costed 10€ per person. I would also recommend to visit a small café and enjoy amazing view from there. Very enjoyable time

Lovely gardens on the edge of Florence. Well maintained with a great view over Florence - would recommend coming here rather than Piazza Michelangelo given you get the same view but with the extra bonus of gardens!

E' curatissimo è contiene molte specie. Confina con quello di Boboli ed il Giardino delle Rose, rispetto i quali è meno famoso. E' da vedere con calma. In estate c'è comunque tanta ombra. Mi spiace solo che in giugno il favoloso passaggio sotto i glicini non fosse più in fiore. Bella vista sulla città. Un bar in cima a disposizione. Il biglietto per Boboli (e comunque area-Pitti) vale anche per l'ingresso a questo giardino

Un ambiente davvero ricco di scorci unici e vista mozzafiato sui tetti di Firenze. Il giardino di Villa Bardini custodisce al suo interno il glicine secolare che nel periodo di maggio sfoggia la sua maestosa fioritura.
Inoltre merita una visita senza fretta perché è molto grande e ha anche un sentiero tra gli alberi in ombra
Personale gentile e possibilità di aperitivi con vista in terrazza.

Presque tous les avis récents disent que ce jardin est mal entretenu et ne vaut pas la peine d être visiter alors que les guides touristiques disent que c'est une merveille.
Quelqu un y est il allé récemment ?

Italy's weather is mild, but it's still winter. pack cold weather clothes, it rains about 1 in 4 days and fairly overcast most days.
The city will be busy, but the sights will be less impressive. I would suggest late spring or early fall. Vegetation and the sunlight bring out the city better

No, you can purchase the tickets at the entrance (in fact there are two biglieteria, one close to Bobolli and the other directly from the street)

If I want to buy the tickets to Bardini Gardens and also go to Boboli Gardens after, which entrance of Bardini garden should I use? I want to go to Bardini garden FIRST and then continue to Boboli Gardens and some of the museums included in the combined ticket.
