In Florence walking near via fur shop I entered GOCCIA SHOES and I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the owners Nino and Michela,
It is not so trivial to find courteous, affable and helpful people.
I also think it is one of the few shops left to have craftsmanship quality Made in Italy: genuine leather in every possibility.
I bought two great pairs of shoes.
But exciting is
That they were able to accommodate my husband's request.
By wearing a 47 it is always difficult for him to choose a shoe that he likes.After taking the
Measurements gave him the chance to make the shoe he wanted, made to measure, I think it's fantastic. It became our reference on Florence.

Guccia undoubtedly has the best quality and value for shoes not only in Florence, but anywhere ! The attention to detail and quality along with expert knowledge of what it takes to create a shoe that supports an anatomic structure promoting comfort is phenomenal. I work in medicine and stand on my feet for long hours daily. These shoes are a life changer. The Best .

I hesitate to write this because Goccia has been one of our “Jewels of Florence” for years.
I could gush about the quality and style of the shoes, or I could go on and on about hand made quality - but this all somewhat misses the mark when you meet the proprietor, Nino and his amazing staff. They all want to do what they can to make sure you have a fantastic experience, and walk away with shoes that excite the senses - and literally fit like a glove.
If you want one of the “big names” in fashion - go ahead, then stop by Goccia and find out about true artistry and Italian quality craftsmanship - and make friends for life!

Nino and Michela and the staff of their shop are a fantastic couple, they take care of the customer like never before and their custom-made shoes are beautiful. Such a treatment is unique and recalls the long tradition of craftsmanship in Florence, a real pride for our city. Real leather, great design. Line both classic and more modern. 10 and praise,

MUST GO! Nino (owner) was one of the most amazing people ever. His kindness and generosity are truly unmatched. He helped me find the perfect pair of shoes and worked with my needs in the most professional way. This store has been family owned since the early 1900s and their motto hasn’t changed one bit. DO NOT go anywhere else - this is truly an amazing place that will touch your heart. You can’t get an experience like this anywhere else. 11/10

I was looking for beautiful leather moccasins and I'm pretty sure I found the best store in all of Florence. The store owner was very friendly and helpful. He even gave me tips on how to choose the right outfit for the shoes.
The shoes themselves are of the highest quality and I absolutely love them. I will definitely come back to Florence just to buy another pair! :)

This fabulous family-run shoe store offers a fantastic selection of hand-crafted shoes at great prices. The unique designs are sure to make others jealous of your stylish footwear! If only it were possible to give more than 5 stars! I’d known I wanted to visit Goccia during our Italy trip after reading all the other fantastic reviews, and my experience did not disappoint. Obviously, I am extremely happy with my new boots, but what really made everything special was Nino’s attentiveness and enthusiasm. He listened to what I was looking for, found the perfect pair of boots, and explained why they were so special! I highly, highly recommend Goccia Shoes to any and all looking for a beautiful souvenir, thoughtful gift, or simply a new addition to their closet!

Goccia Shoes is the only shoe store to shop at when in Italy. It is worth making the trip from other cities. The hospitality, the craftsmanship, and the pure joy that buying from Goccia gave me is second to none. They made the entire process so smooth and didn't feel pressure to buy anything at all. They allow me to try on multiple sizes and colors and in the end I decided to get custom ones made. I can not recommend this store as well as Noi enough. Anytime I am in Italy I will make sure to stop by and not only say hi to the amazing staff but also to get more high quality leather and shoes. Thank you again for the amazing experience and I can not wait to receive my shoes.

There is enough positive things to say about Nino and the quality shoes at Goccia. As a solo traveler I had the best time trying on shoes and getting the detailed stories of craftsmanship of all the shoes and boots that caught my eye from Nino. You can’t walk out without a gorgeous pair of boots or shoes from Goccia and experiencing the warm genuine care and service from the owner Nino
I get compliments every time I wear my white leather sneakers in the pic. Nino convinced me and he was so right! I will be back in December to get my black boots , and more footwear I am sure so have them ready Nino lol!
Be prepared you cannot leave with just one pair of kicks.

Hi Sarah, Goccia does do custom orders but because they stand behind quality and satisfaction, they usually don’t custom shoes unless you’ve purchased something before. Due to shipping costs and the fact that handmade leather shoes can vary based on someone’s foot, Goccia owner Nino would never want to sell you a shoe that he couldn’t guarantee if you’ve never had shoes from their store before. However, feel free to reach out as they do custom orders. Good luck!

They do not post their prices online. They recommended and let me try many pairs of shoes. In the end I only bought one pair but at no time did I feel pressured to buy. Maybe you can email them to find out the price range.

Hello,from Piazza Signoria is about 3minutes to our shop. From Piazza Signoria in the angle is the store Chanel,near is a little street that goes in Supermarket porcellino. You pass the porcellino pig is another tiny street in rhe angle is a restaurant called Mamma Mia.. and arrives exactly to our store ..you see one of our windows..the tiny street is called via val di lamona..is full of seats from the restaurants. Any wat..once tou arrive in Piazza Porcellino ask people,they know us. :)

Hello from GOCCIA! We apologize for not answering you immediatly. We actually didn't payed attention about the message. We do much better in artisan work than tecnology😊
Anyway,you are more then welcome to come in our store, try some hand made shoes and try to custom made a wonderful pair of shoes for you that fits perfect!! If you are here more days,please come in the beggining like this we have time to take care in case of measurments.
