We had a delightful and informative time in our tour with Elisabetta. She was patient with us among all the crowds. She took us around old Florence and told us exactly what we wanted to know. She’s also up on her WW2 history which in Italy can be a confusing subject. We would not hesitate to recommend her to any group. Our only regret is that we couldn’t have her lead us around Siena. Professional. Occasionally cheeky (which we loved) Just wonderful!

A group of six of us wanted a private tour of the Uffizi as we had limited time and wanted to make the most of it. Elisabetta was a fantastic tour guide, extremely well-organised and knowledgeable both about the city and its culture, but also about the mechanics of visiting the Uffizi. She gave us an excellent overview of the different schools of art and how they developed and made the trip so much more interesting and enlightening than if we had gone round unguided. I would definitely contact her again, she made all the difference to our day and I have recommended her to a number of friends.

I can't say enough wonderful things about our tour guide, Elisabetta Marchi. She is so knowledgeable about all things Tuscany, and showed us not only amazing historical sites, but off-the-beaten-path places as well. She is friendly, well organized, and so helpful with recommendations. I can't wait to go back to Italy and do another tour with her!

In Siena we had an amazing tour with Elisabetta. She really helped us connect with Siena. Just walking down side streets we were able to learn the interesting history of the area and the famous Palio di Siena horse race around the Piazzo del Campo. While her knowledge of Siena is incredible, it felt more like walking with a friend. We learned about the area but were also able to have conversation - she didn’t just list facts. It made it so enjoyable and we felt as if we actually learned more.

My husband and I booked a tour with Elisabetta for a day in Siena and San Gimignano. She was prompt, professional and extremely knowledgeable about all of the beautiful places we visited. She helped with parking, directions and short cuts, saving time. We shared a wonderful meal at a highly recommended restaurant in Siena and we became fast friend, getting to know each other and sharing information about our cultures. She was a joy and we will call on her again when in Tuscany!

Elisabetta was so knowledgeable and informative, while very entertaining as well. Skipping lines is sooo with it. She was able to customize a tour for the two of us and as a result we were able to experience some hidden gems. There is so much to visit in the region, a tour with Elisabetta is the only way to see as much as possible within a small scope of time and gain fantastic insight. She was so personable and we are so delighted to make her acquaintance. If we are ever in Tuscany again, we will reach out to her again!!

Having a guide like Elisabetta is a game changer. You will see more, learn more, and know you are making the most of your time. She is so smart and helpful. I highly recommend hiring her when in Florence!!

Elisabetta was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and gifted in a way to make the experience personalized. We booked several different tours with her and we were not disappointed. I highly recommend Elisabetta as your tour to take your experience to the next level.

On our first trip to Florence we wanted an introductory tour of the city with a private guide, not a group tour which can be a cattle call. We found the Tuscany Trotter website and read about Elisabetta and her passion for Florence, so we signed up for her tour of the city, including a visit to the Accademia. Lasting a little over 3 hours, the tour was extremely informative and much fun. Elisabetta is an engaging, knowledgeable guide with a wonderful personality and we are so happy we chose her.
