We were so lucky to had Lisa as our guide to see the Uffizi. We wanted to share this visit with our children (3.5, 6 and 8.5 yo) and Lisa gave us the best experience we could wish for. She perfectly planned everything, timing every step so that the children were at ease and engaged in the activities she prepared for them. The treasure hunt with postcards and colouring books with paintings and monuments was a genius touch. She is an experienced and reliable professional, but most of all she is passionate about Florence, art and history of art, so that she can really share her love for every corner and every paintings. The children - and us too - were enchanted by the magic stories she told us for each masterpiece. Can't recommend her enough!

Lisa was recommended to us through our guide in Rome and she was absolutely fantastic! We had the best day exploring all the highlights of Florence and Lisa was so knowledgable and was so sweet to take us to wonderful hidden gems like a wine tasting with her local friends who made us feel like family. We can’t recommend her enough! THANK YOU LISA!

As beautiful as Florence is, seeing it through Lisa's eyes is a gift of magnificence. We have toured with her several times and couldn't recommend her more highly. She gears your tour to the needs and interests of the group or individuals beautifully. Lisa's Florence is one I'd like to return to, again and again!

I did two of Lisa's tours - Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens and the historical city center tour. Both were amazing! Lisa is incredibly knowledgeable on the history of Florence and all of the beautiful art to be seen. On top of all that, she is fun and super friendly. All of my friends and family thoroughly enjoyed our time with her!!!

On A recent Trip to Florence we had the opportunity to hire Lisa to give us a customized tour of many of its highlights.... well what a tour it was!.... with her knowledge and great love of Art history along with her story telling,and amazing personality I sparked a new found understanding and appreciation of this beautiful City. Job well done Lisa!!! thanks so much!!!

My five friends and I only had one day to see the city and with the assistance of our tour guide Lisa Melani, we had a fantastic day. Lisa was very knowledgeable of the history of Firenze, the Medici, the meanings of the manysculptures! Thanks to Lisa we had the best lasagne of our trip and also had time to shop, shop, shop both at the leather factories and the mercato.
I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone travelling to Firenze, Lisa is the way to see the sites of the city!

During a recent trip to Florence, my husband and I, along with two other couples, had the great pleasure of using Lisa as our private tour guide. Lisa truly is best tour guide we have ever had in our many travels to Europe and abroad. She is energetic, incredibly knowledgeable, outgoing, and has an uncanny ability to "read her audience". The six of us had a wonderful time learning about Florence, whether visiting the Uffizi gallery, going to the Duomo, seeing the David statue, or shopping in the leather district. Lisa's positive energy was infectious. We are looking forward to future trips to Florence and Tuscany, and having the opportunity for Lisa to be our guide again!

My boyfriend and I recently spent 7 days in Florence. Not being group tourists, we hired Lisa to give us "the highlights" tour. She definitely ignited our appreciation and orientation of the city! For convenience she met us in our hotel lobby. Despite some brief rain showers, Lisa maintained a great sense of humor on the walking tour while sharing her vast knowledge and passion of art with us. We could not have been more comfortable with her and thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with Lisa!

Our group of 4 adults spent 4 days with Lisa in Florence and the wine region. Lisa's knowledge and love of the area is readily apparent. Her background as an Art History major and her skills as a story teller made every day fun and interesting. Lisa quickly keyed in on what we would like to see and do and tailored our tour accordingly. She even packed our favorite beverages and snacks for our trip to the wine country! We left Florence having made a wonderful new friend. I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a trip there.

Lisa introduced us to her city during our recent trip to Italy. It was our first day in Florence and she gave us a crash course in all that one should know about the city to truly enjoy your time there. She helped us get our bearings, showing us famous landmarks and telling us such interesting stories. She also showed us the many things that make Florence special - from the market to the workshops to the art. Lisa is so kind and so passionate about her city...spending a few hours with her is like spending time with an old friend. If you go to Florence, I would highly recommend meeting up with Lisa as soon as you get there!
