A pretty cheerful mural, plenty of colour, I've no idea if there's any deeper meaning to it but apparently having been there for 25 years it still looks pretty vibrant.

Beautiful mural painted by Keith Haring in 1989 making it one of his last murals before his death in 1990.
In addition, it is one of the few murals by this artist on permanent display.

Beautiful mural, we walked right past it before we knew it was there. Well worth a visit for a few minutes. Fascinating to explore the many characters with your eyes.

Not a Keith Haring fan but this mural on the south bank of the Arno river is quite impressive. If in town it is a worthwhile stop after visiting the leaning tower of course.

It's a different wall than usual which puts you in a good mood because it's all colourful, if you're passing by it's nice to stop and look at it. If you are organizing a tour, in my opinion, it is not worth organizing a special stop.

If you are interested in pop art, this is a good example . Also cafes nearby if you need refreshment. it is a few streets down from the bridge over the river by the tiny Santa Maria della Spina church.

It's a large mural by Keith Haring, famous for his designs of silhouettes of people in motion. I was surprised at how much bigger it was than I had imagined. It's on the way from Pisa Central Station to the Leaning Tower, so it's a good idea to stop by when you're visiting the Leaning Tower.

Hi, there are so many articles that spokes about this Haring's masterpice, but i know only those one written in Italian.
If you are interested, i advice you to read his diaries: here you can find also the story of Haring's experience in Pisa and so many other things (how he grow up, his ideas about aesthetics, his love stories, the drama of HIV...).
