Very friendly welcome and explanation about the wines. Picnic was very well cared for and tasty with beautiful views.

On 13/08/24 my daughter and I stayed at the SAIO vineyard where we were greeted by Mrs. Agnese, who welcomed us with courtesy and sympathy, made us feel immediately at ease... The tasting was excellent he illustrated each wine impeccably, and each wine accompanied by cold cuts and bruschetta with their magnificent oil... In addition to the wines we also tasted grape jam... Wonderful... And then the beautiful walk through the vineyards... Thanks Agnese I hope to return to visit you maybe for a picnic in the vineyard

Very interesting guided tasting, Irene is a perfect hostess, ready to answer all your curiosities (both about the wine and the surroundings). The 6 proposals tasted (two white and four red, of increasing alcohol content) range between flavors and local and family history. The two whites are accompanied by a cutting board with tastings of local cheeses, jam made with their grapes (very good!) and bread soaked in their own oil, while the four reds are paired with raw ham, salami and testo cake. Spectacular and absolutely recommended also the walk along their vineyard, which culminates in a veranda overlooking the beautiful Assisi. The shop is obviously available for the sale of both wines and oil, prices proportionate to the offer. If you're in the area, don't miss this experience!

Absolutely incredible service! Myself and my aunt both came along and they were incredibly accommodating for all of our needs. If you want an amazing vineyard experience, this is the place to be!

We combined a wine tasting with a picnic at Saio vineyards. It is outside the main walls of Assisi, but you can drive, walk, or bike there. We walked from our hotel in Assisi. Our hostess was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The wines were excellent, and there was only one other couple there for a tasting.
Following the tasting, we received a map of the vineyards showing where each variety of grape was grown. We were able to walk through the vineyards up to a veranda overlooking Assisi. Our hostess brought us a delightful lunch with an extensive charcuterie board, bruschetta with olive oil, and the wine of our choice. It was a delightful experience. We were never rushed for time and were able to enjoy the vineyard. This is a side trip I would definitely recommend. It was a very good value and one of our best memories of our trip to Italy.

Nice tasting accompanied by cheeses and cured meats under the expert guidance of the owner.
Also recommended is a walk among the vineyards and olive trees until you see a beautiful panorama of Assisi from below

Absolutely amazing time!! We tasted all the wines with food served with each wine!! The wine and food was amazing! We ordered a case and half to ship home and received it in a timely manner! Also got olive oil and jam that they make! Highly recommend!

Me and a friend got there 30 minutes early, we called the number on the door as SAIO was not open yet. They came in less than 10 minutes to let us in and start the tour. The wine was excellent and the food was delish. Super accommodating and nice, had a great time for a great price.

Salve, volevo informazioni in merito ad una visita presso la vostra azienda. Siamo in due e saremo a Perugia dal 20 al 23. Quanto dura la visita e in cosa consiste? Premesso che siamo due profani mi piacerebbe saperne di più. Quali sono poi i costi a persona?

Is there transportation from town of Assisi to the vineyard? We won't have a car....
