I did an hour long tour of the lake. It was sunny but very windy. There is no guide that I saw. But the views are completely amazing.

Outstanding cruise on a refurbished paddle boat! We sailed on the Rhone (name of the boat) from Geneva to Lausanne - just under 4 hours. Superb views of the often beautiful banks of the lake and the Mont Blanc range. We paid the extra for 1st class travel on the upper deck, and it is worth it. We took our own food, and water, but bought coffees. The waiters were VERY busy for the entire trip, and what we saw of the food looked good. But the scenery! Stunning!
We took the train back to Geneva - another experience! Super smooth, like riding on air. British Rail it is not.

We booked a CGN tour, departing from the popular Geneva harbor. The tour was nice, but we had to figure out on our own that the wine and food was served below, as we were seated on the top deck. Despite the confusion, the young lady serving the food and cocktails was outstanding. We had a great experience !

The walk to the English Garden in Geneva made us want to get on the "wheeled" boats that are moored at the dock. So we decided to enjoy a meal cruise aboard the Savoy. Lasting three hours, we made several stops in Hermance and Yvoire. We enjoyed the view of Lake Geneva from a boat and the decor is very relaxing. As for meals, we were pampered and the menu offers several choices that will satisfy everyone. The quality of the welcome and service should be highlighted. Indeed, the staff was at our disposal, always smiling (especially a Marseille waiter!!) and the pace of the table service was perfect. In short an excellent moment during which the sun accompanied us all the time of the cruise.

Lovely way to see Lake Geneva and panoramic views of the Alps. We enjoyed 1st class seating on the upper deck where you get the best views. Don’t expect 1st class service. This is about the views and the lake experience, not the food and drinks. Food and drinks are available. The staff are lovely and helpful, but they can be overwhelmed by large groups and during peak season. We were fortunate to meet some wonderful people from France and had a very pleasant 2 hour cruise with wine and lovely vistas.

Great time on a hot summer day in Geneva. Recommend to all, two options are offered: 50 minutes and 2 hours. We advise you to buy tickets in advance.

During a crossing between Nernier and Nyon my wife lost an earring of great sentimental value on “le Valais” CGN boat
On our return we reported this loss to Evelyna who returned the jewelry to us.

We booked a Xmas day cruise down Lake Geneva, as a special treat to ourselves, but we were very disappointed with the outcome on board. We booked a table for a meal, but unfortunately, (as others found out too) the service was very poor, and the food was sub standard. Whilst we appreciated it was Xmas day, and the staff levels may have been undermanned, we did expect a higher level of service from this company. The boat was not at its full passenger capacity, yet the staff on board struggled to cope. We waited over an hour into the trip to get a drink that we ordered, and just under 2 hours for our food! (Bearing in mind the trip is only two and a half hours long!) When our meals finally arrived, they were only Luke warm, and one was not even the meal we had ordered? Other customers were complaining this was the same for them too. Overall, not the best expierience, and it spoilt our day. However, we would like to add, one positive note from this trip, one waiter, who tried his utmost to please everyone, and went above and beyond his duties, and was a credit to this company, was RASHEED. If not for him, the situation would have been unbearable.

After 2 hours we only had the starter on a 3 course service. It's long, very long, much too long. We arrived and did not have coffee. This is unacceptable!

Yes, it is walkable from the railway station of Montreux, around 5 minutes.
Our embarkation location is just next to the restaurant "Le Métropole", the address of it is "Grand' Rue 55".
