Its a fairytale land with the most picturesque scenery. Every point is instagram able. Its a great place to shop luxury brands and eat great food.

Small village in the mountains worth a visit. The pedestrian street is shopping is directly accessible from the station. Everything is beautiful, everything is clean everything is rope. Wood architecture chalet style and luxury shops. You can go there for Shopping but beware that this is not accessible to everyone. We go there mainly to walk, eat for a few hours and treat ourselves a little out of time. Lots of dining possibilities. In short it is charming and magical and offers a beautiful escape.

We are staying in Zermatt for 2 months and have been using the train to do day trips. Seeing downtown Gstaad definitely was a visual treat. It is a beautiful, manicured ski town. I personally have very little interest in designer shops or high end dining, so it has limited appeal to me, but you can certainly find all that here. But it is fascinating to just walk through it, although I highly prefer other more outdoor-oriented towns.
Regardless, a stunning downtown area.

The Gstaad pedestrian promenade is the hub of Gstaad life. If you go up the pedestrian side you have glamour shops, restaurants, coffee shops, streel hot wine/beer places, some tourist stuff too, and attractions like art galleries, sidewalk art statues and even a church for those in religious mode that also hosts concerts..everybody, and I mean everybody on vacations in Gstaad will walk this area nearly everyday. Park the car (take clins and remember the license plate number ) on the parking under the ice skating place and either go right to the train station and COOP fully equipped market for daily mundane activities or turn left for the glamour ones. Best of all are having coffee and cake at Charlies or Cappuchino.. and just walking ... relaxing.. that , and ski, is why we come to Gstaad

Se balader à Gstaad faut carrément le détour. On y voit une population assez unique.
La plupart des magasins sont plutôt luxes, on ne va pas y faire de bonnes affaires mais ça n’est pas le but.

La rue piétonne de Gstaad a "tout d'une grande" !
On retrouve les magasins et boutiques de produits haut de game qui font la réputation de cette station relativement huppée des Alpes suisses.
Une promenade est agréable et permet de rêver un peu ce qui au vu de la situation sanitaire actuelle n'est pas un luxe !
Il vaut la peine de consacrer du temps pour une petite flânerie.

Se si vuole parlare della conca di Gstaad si può dire solo….il paradiso esiste anche in terra …tranquillità e silenzio oltre ogni immaginazione passeggiate nel verde più o meno impegnative .poi ti giri e se vuoi vai a fare shopping nei negozi più esclusivi dalle Marche ricercate dalla clientela internazionale molto chic.

Like many of the luxury Mountain stations, Gstaad has its street with expensive boutiques and restaurants. Well ... certainly good for those snobbish enough to think that buying a Prada dress in the middle of the pastures is the thing to do. Most others will rather enjoy and explore the surrounding landscape. Otherwise this street is pedestrian, a pity for the Bentley, it must stay out!

Una sensación diferente venir a este lugar justo cuando acaba de terminar la temporada de esquiar y además con todavía algunas Restricciones de la pandemia.
Algunas tiendas todavía abiertas, poquísima gente, restaurantes cerrados... aún así el pueblo es encantador!! al estilo suizo único! la decoración excelente! tiendas de marcas conocidas en locales todos en forma de chalets ...simplemente digno de visitar!!.
