So we landed up in this place as it was late and this place was just next to our hotel. It was a super comfy place however the bar lady just took away all of the charm. We ordered a beer and a glass of wine, which seemed to annoy her. She was super rude and the only time I saw her smiling/talking decently was when she was with her friend who was at the bar next to us.
Please do not visit this place, as it will be a total spoiler of your evening.

Wir wurden nach einem Kaffe sozusagen RAUSGEWORFEN um Platz für ihre Freunde zu machen!! Keinen Besuch wert! Die Barmaid Nadja mag anscheinend nur einheimische Gäste! Besser sie würde sich einen anderen Job suchen!

The most unwelcome I have ever felt in a bar.Dark haired barmaid

Visited with a mate.
Bar had a theme for the Munich Oktoberfest and had got one of the best beers in from Munich especially. It was well presented and tasted exactly as it should (having been at the Oktoberfest a few days earlier). Full marks.
The barmaid is definitely a character and is most definitely in charge of the bar.
The bar itself is cosy.
I'd be happy to go. Back.

Ich kann die bisherige Bewertung so nicht verstehen und kann nur von meinen Erfahrungen berichten. Ich war in diesem Lokal und angenehm überrascht über die sehr nette, zuvorkommende und lustige Bardame mit den langen schwarzen Haaren. Inzwischen war ich einige male da und freue mich immer wieder über die schönen, spontanen und witzigen Abende die in dieser Bar automatisch entstehen. Ein wirklicher Tip und ein Muss bei einem Besuch in Interlaken.

My family went on a European Vacation where we visited Interlaken. What a beautiful place with picturesque surroundings and lots to do. On a wet day my family and another went into a place named THE OLD FASHIONED BAR where there was a dark haired female behind the bar. We all bought a drink (which were about £7 each) and the prices changed each time we asked for them. While we were having a drink the barmaid had a large pizza delivered and opened the box on the bar and was eating it with the only other 2 people in the bar. After a short while the wife of my friend came to meet us and was carrying a small ice cream in a pot (about the size of a yogurt pot). The barmaid began shouting "no pic nic, no pic nic". We explained that we were not in fact eating and that she was happily eating a large pizza with 2 others in the bar and the rude response came back "I am the chief as she threw a towel in the sink and walked away mumbling obscenities about the English and using her hands like crabs as if what we were saying was not important. We were the only customers and spent about £60 in the bar on her made up prices but have never met such a rude and aggressive person in my life. Each time she came back from behind the bar she sighed due to us not having yet finished our drinks and mumbled something about us under her breath.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS as there are a number of great bars and restaurants in the area who are helpful and accommodating.
