Encouraged by the reviews and the great dinner at the restaurant, I decided to sign up for a Fondue cooking class, because whenever I travel I love to test the authentic food of a country. It was one of the best experiences in Switzerland, talking to locals and testing real food. But that's not all, besides the food I will always remember the atmosphere of the place and the hospitality of Lucas and Lydia :) I will definitely come back there when I'm again in Wengen. PS see you in future!

We were there for the summer mid-BBQ and feasted! The meat was tender and incredibly delicious and the side dishes, especially the Chäshörnli were awesome! We will definitely be back!

We booked the course with some other friends. We enjoyed the course not for only the entertainment, but the local story.

I was there with my partner and we found the evening extremely nice. It's a good idea for a cozy evening. Definitely the best fondue we have ever tasted.

The entire experience was incredible, from beginning to end. The fondue was off the charts-SO delicious! Lukas and Lydia were amazing hosts and treated us like family. If you do ONE thing in Wengen, THIS is what you should do. We can't wait to go back. I have already recommended this event and venue to friends who will be visiting this summer. DO NOT MISS IT!

Our evening with Lukas and Lydia was fantastic! They made a special effort to do the fondue class for us while we were in Wengen. They are both so friendly and fun. Lukas is an amazing chef and he taught us all about cheeses, fondue, and some Swiss culture. We all participated in the cooking then sat down in their beautiful restaurant (with incredible views!!) to eat the fondue we had made. It was truly the BEST fondue we had ever had. And he shared his “secret” ingredient with us which was a perfect addition. If you are in Wengen you MUST spend an evening with Lydia and Lukas (and their darling daughter) eating at their restaurant for lunch, dinner, a fondue class, or a drink on their patio with the amazing views!

Can’t recommend highly enough! We were their first ever Fondue Class/dinner and it was amazing. The food, wine, cider, and Kirsch was so so good, and learning about the history of fondue, cuisine of the area, etc was so much fun and so delicious! You’ll never meet nicer people either - Lukas and Lydia are the kindest and most generous hosts - and what a darling baby! The view is stunning too - don’t miss this gem! And thank you, Allmend! We’ll be back!

Together with friends we spent the fondue evening in Wengen. The restaurant is beautifully situated above the picturesque village and has a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. Where if not here should you enjoy the typical Swiss cheese dish? We had a very entertaining, informative and delicious evening with the friendly host couple. Absolutely recommend!
