The location is undeniably beautiful, perfect for swimming and relaxing on sun beds. However, it tends to get quite crowded given its small size. Unfortunately, the staff's attitude towards tourists is disappointing. We waited over 25 minutes for a coffee, with no apology or acknowledgment. Other interactions were similarly dismissive, making us feel undervalued as paying customers. Probably wouldn’t return purely because of the rude service, doesn’t make you feel welcome.

Lido piccolo che un fascino incredibile. Da 6 anni gestito da dei giovani motivati e intraprendenti con tante proposte di produttori locali, cocktail, ottimo cibo, buona musica, eventi di vario tipo e musica dal vivo. Il lido è più piccolo rispetto agli altri lidi di Lugano, quindi in alta stagione si riempie in fretta, ma ne vale la pena. La sera per un aperitivo, di giorno per un bagno, la mattina per un corso di yoga,... Da sapere, non c'è la piscina, l'acqua del lago è profonda, non si tocca, si scende con delle scalette, quindi attenzione perché è meglio saper nuotare.

I spent two days in Lugano most of that time just swimming in the lake and sunbathing. The lake is absolutely beautiful with a pretty clear water. I travelled to Lugano at the very end of August and it was perfect timing as there were not that many tourists so the beaches were not completely packed. I had most relaxing time, staring at the ducks and swans swimming on the lake and adoring the surrounding Alps. To be quite frank, I did not expect to love the lake that much, but now I feel like I prefer the lake over seaside, mainly as the swimming is easier as there are not any violent waves. Which for me, who is not such a great swimmer, made a huge difference. And the water was very warm as well. The town itself is also very charming. I did not get to wander around that much, but it is very beautiful and clean, packed with cafés and restaurants. The people I came across with were very friendly and welcoming. I just wish I spoke better Italian so I could chat with them more. If you are considering visiting, I would say definitely go!

Come mi dispiace aver scoperto questo posto solo adesso!!!!! Un posto davvero speciale! Ambiente misto ma prevalentemente giovane. Super tranquillo e accogliente! Finalmente dove c’è musica reggae e non la solita commerciale! Lago fantastico, vista stupenda, personale super gentile! Buon cibo. Davvero molto molto carino! Consiglio: arrivare sul presto per trovare parcheggio e sdraio. Davvero consigliato!

Beautiful location, bad and overpriced service. The waiter and waitress were very rude, bothered by asking basic questions like menu and where to pay. I was considering to go for a swim there but after their non-welcoming attitude I rather left. I couldn’t speak Italian but offered English, French or German. Two of these are official languages of Switzerland. No reason to be rude if a tourist pays and asks a few basic questions because it culturally differs where to pay and where to order. Would have spent more time and money there if not for their attitude. It’s Switzerland, obviously they don’t need that and I’m off to better.

Dieses kleine Lido liegt am Olivenweg. Sehr hübsch und gepflegte Anlage.
Mit einem netten kleinen Cafe unter alten Bäumen mit schönem Schatten.
Sehr nette Bedienung.
Der Cafe schmeckt sehr lecker, die Cornetto con Crema nicht der kullinarische Hochgenuss, aber ok.
Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen mit einer kleinen Pause auf dem Olivenweg.

Sind zufällig auf einem Spaziergang zwischen Gandria und Lugano an diesem lauschig-chilligen Lido vorbeigekommen. Seebadi mit Bar und Aussensitzplätzen unter Kastanien in sehr entspannter Atmosphäre und angenehmer Musik. Junges und sympathisches Team kümmert sich aufmerksam und zugleich relaxt um Bar- und Badibetrieb. Kommen gerne wieder - vor allem wenn der See wärmer ist. Lohnt sich aber auch bereits ohne Schwimmen.

We loved it! Great place, wonderful views, good atmosphere and a nice swim. Friendly staff , nice lunches!
The water is clear but deep, so I would not recommend for very small children.

sehr freundliche Bedienung, toller Garten unter schönen alten Bäumen, direkt am See mit wunderbarer Aussicht und v.a. sehr Hundefreundlich..

Vorrei solo rispondere a Rezz96 che 2 gazzose e un toast sono 14.40 magari hai preso qualcos altro per quella cifra, i miei prezzi sono nella norma,e poi mi scuso se non sono stata troppo disponibile alla cassa con voi ,ma ci sono giornate che ho 250 persone al lido e la struttura è molto piccola e diventa piuttosto difficile gestire al meglio per accontentare tutti i clienti quando si è anche spesso sotto pressione .Ora che ho piu tempo se volete chiarire di persona io sono qua,invece che scrivere commenti negativi sulle persone non è forse meglio parlarne?? e vorrei rispondere anche a Shtelin 87 che si è lamentata del toast ,la comanda non l avevo presa io e cmq se non andava bene si poteva rifare senza problemi,tutti possiamo sbagliare bastava solo comunicare invece che scrivere e fare del male stupidamente.,Grazie..
