Notre table reservée a été donnée à d'autres donc pas d'anniversaire. Pourtant un gâteau avait été reservé mais la personne a l'accueil nous a fait toutes sortes de procès d'intention. Détestable

Accueil super, musique fabuleuse, cuisine excellente, TRÈS bon rapport qualité-prix, j'y retourne toujours avec grand plaisir, même si je ne consomme parfois qu'une boisson. Le but, c'est tout de même d'y entendre de la bonne musique!!!

Chorus was less than 2 blocks from our hotel at Swiss wine at the croissers metro stop at rue Caroline. It's open thurs thru sat. Thurs is free entry but the lady at the bar/entrance will ask u in french, " what would u like to drink"?(it's required to buy a 5chf drink to pass into the entry/free music). She can show u a menu in English which u can point to. A pint of beer is8 chf which is good as I paid this same $ last nt at captain cook pub without a jazz band. The band begins at 2030. They had a break from 2120 till 2130. Then continued until 2230. They were excellent!! Talked to the band after the show & they said the student bands play on thurs-u would never know that! They were great & it was a full house! When u walk it with google maps it leads u towards a parking garage but the chorus is right bf it with the entry painted bright blue. One of the better times in dec in Switzerland

La cucina mi ha sorpreso per la sua qualità.
Il locale é accogliente e viene voglia di tornarci, anche se l'acustica non mi é sembrata perfetta. Il gruppo che abbiamo ascoltato noi era di livello medio/basso ed in particolare il batterista ci é sembrato scarsino. Il programma della stagione però é piuttosto vasto e sembra promettere esibizione di alto livello. Torneremo.

Really, this jewel of a place had wonderful jazz the night we determined to hear jazz and was marvelously surprised by the wine, food, and song of this jazz venue. It was cozy, just like some places in Austin, and had great Staff, service, and food. The musicians were very engaging with the audience. An meilleur experience!

J'adore y aller en week-end, car les concerts valent le détour, surtout les soirées Prestige. Pas beaucoup de choix dans la carte mais ce n'est pas grave car à la base ce n'est pas un restaurant. Dégusté les tagliatelles à la mode du chef qui étaient excellentes! Accueil sympathique, personnel à l'écoute et ambiance très cosy! À faire au moins une fois!

This place HAS TO be visited!
Very nice nd friendly welcome, we were there for the 1st time nd announced it, we got all the usefull informations about this place by the employee who took her time for us.
Unique jazz cellar in Lausanne, excellent accoustic, there is a possibility to eat before/during concerts. Very warm ambiance due to the size of the place, prices depends of course of the group who's playing.
On Thursdays free entrances, only a drink is requested(CHF 5.- minimum, very reasonnable).
SOMETHING TO DO IN Lausanne FOR SURE! Enjoy your evening.
The cellar is open from Thusdays to Sat only! If you plan to go during weekends I'd recommand to reserve 1st.

It is a jazz club. THE juzz club of Lausanne. Sound quality is really great if you sit in the center of the place.

Un service attentif et sympa malgré le jeu d'équilibre entre le bar, les boissons en salle, les repas et le début des concerts. Le risotto vaut vraiment le détour. Avons aussi mangé un soir un rare Rosbeaf. Très bon vin du mois (Montepulciano par exemple). Le climat unique d'un club de jazz. Seul club dédié à cette musique à Lausanne. Grands noms du jazz d'aujourd'hui, new-yorkais , français, ou d'ici.

Live jazz 'bunker' in down-town Lausanne, the "Chorus" is THE place to be THU, FRI and SAT if you're in for a live Jazz evening ! The place is cosy and you're very close to the stage (but book beforehand). It's a cool place to eat & drink as well.
