…what a terrific unexpected visit we’ve had-walking into Renssen Art Gallery; welcomed, companied, guided, well extended knowledge Art-Hystoricus…but also nice homely chatting..time flew by…& moreover we where into “Picasso”…we where privileged to enter the inner Circle of Eric’s Atelier…: what a dip intoCultural Livingcolours History, like craftsman using age old skill…and artist’s color pigments, managed like the stratified colors of the tulip fields or such exquisite floral gardens …Eric’s specialty..: Rubbing Shoulder to Shoulder with the Old Master Picasso….formidabel!!

We were walking in the art district area when we stumbled upon the Renssen Art Gallery. We walked in and Suzka welcomed us in and gave us a nice tour of the gallery and art. Erik's work is really good and we ended up with a small piece. We had a chance to visit Erik's studio in Waterland as well. Both very passionate about art and Erik's knowledge about Picasso is amazing.

Sono rimasto incuriosito dall'arte nella finestra e all'interno ho trovato varie opere d'arte che mi sarebbero piaciute. Ho acquistato una stampa originale a blocchi di linoleum con cornice. Ho anche parlato con l'artista al telefono! È stato confezionato in modo molto sicuro in una scatola di legno e accuratamente imballato. Il livello di cura per inviare l'arte anche prima della spedizione è molto apprezzato! Questo prende il posto d'onore nella sala da pranzo!

This was a very special visit as we went to the home of the Rennsens and saw the artist studio and was hosted by his beautiful wife who shared her joy and love with the art and its significance.
The artist incorporated ideas from Picasso and others and we saw his prolific portfolio
We were not currently in the market for artwork as our walls are full
Will return in next trip!

This place is so lovely!! Love Renssen’s work and his wife Suzka is the curator. She is an expert at framing the artwork in the perfect frame and backing and was so patient as we looked at dozens of wood block prints. The whole experience was really personal, fun and highly recommended. I bought a framed piece and had it shipped from Amsterdam to New York and it arrived within a week in NYC in perfect condition.

From the moment we stepped into the gallery we felt welcome and comfortable. The young lady let us wonder around without crowding us but was hand to answer any questions we had. Beautiful gallery, art and atmosphere, will return.

I was intrigued by the art in the window, and inside I found several artworks that I would have liked to own. I purchased a framed, original linoleum block print. I even got to speak with the artist on the phone! It arrived very securely packaged in a wood box and carefully wrapped. The level of care to package the art for shipping so well is much appreciated! This is getting the place of honor in the dining room!

Een prachtige galerie in hartje Amsterdam. Gevestigd in een onwijs leuk artistiek straatje! De kunstwerken zijn prachtig en de kunstenaar en zijn vrouw zijn erg gastvrij. De stijl van schilderen is gericht op Picasso en geeft veel nieuwe inspiratie!
