My boyfriend and I were looking for a spa type get away during my business trip to the Netherlands. We found this place to offer better amenities than other locations in the area. It did not disappoint! We booked the 'Beauty' package which included access to the saunas, a 55 minute massage and lunch. It included towels and a robe as well. The saunas and pools are fully nude. Don't be self conscience, trust me no one else is. There are many different dry saunas, a steam sauna, hot water pools to soak your feet, a larger pool at 93 degF and a cold water plunge pool for after your long soak in the hot saunas. The massage was amazing! Afterwards, we had lunch in the dining area which offered a full bar. Others were sipping a drink on the couch in front of a fireplace socializing. There are areas that are quite places if you just want to relax and read a book. They had a cinema room that played movies with rows of comfy couches. You could tell that many locals frequent this place because they came prepared with their own robes and sandals. It's a place to socialize. The decor throughout the building was incredible. Something interesting to look at in every inch. I've never experienced anything like it in the USA. I would LOVE to return again. Highly recommended! FYI, you DO need a towel and robe, you DO NOT need slippers or sandals. Barefoot is fine. And DO shower before and after entering the saunas.

It was just perfect. We had a couple treatment „Iles pacifique“ and it was a very good experience from first to last minute. The people there are unbelievably friendly, and from what we have seen the whole place seems like a perfect place to relax for hours. We will definitely repeat this when we are in this area again but will spend a lot more time there than this time.

We had a great and very relaxing time at Sauna Van Egmond. We took the bus from Haarlem central station with no issues. The staff were very friendly at the sauna and explained everything in detail. The sauna facilities were very clean. The massage was lovely. We had drinks at the restaurant all of which were very good. Would recommend a visit here.

Fantastic spa, restaurant and cinema complex. Wonderful that it's open so late. I wish my country had the civility and maturity for places like this to exist. A real Dutch experience that I would highly recommend if you're in Haarlem and have spent a day walking/cycling!

Whilst doing a road trip around Europe we decided to stop here for a wellness day.
Was greeted by a really helpful receptionist who explained everything to us with a smile.
Went to the locker room and into the showers, used every sauna, steam room,pool and relaxation room and also had a fantastic meal in the restaurant.
Very happy smiley people we met all day long.
Definitely going back as we both loved it there.

Ordered a gift voucher last week. Fast shipping and super nice packaging! Packed with care and love. At other 'webshops' you often get a crappy bag for €1.50, but here it is really nicely packaged!

Great afternoon. My partner and I went for a couples massage. We had been looking at a few places to try and going by reviews we chose this one. We where not disappointed. The room was set up nice and very clean. The massage was excellent and exactly what we needed to relax. Staff where all nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this spa. We will be back.

It was the first time I went to a mixed and nudist sauna, the truth is I felt very comfortable, it is another sauna concept, you are going to spend the day, you have different saunas, a jacuzzi, a relaxation area, you eat, you can watch a movie, go to the terrace to sunbathe (weather permitting), entry costs €50 and they provide you with a towel and bathrobe

Heerlijke zondag doorgebracht. Het weer liet te wensen over, maar bleek goed genoeg om toch even op het dakterras te zitten. Sauna van Egmond is er al jaren, en stelt nooit teleur. Een aantal sauna’s, prima stoombad en….een uitstekende keuken. Midden in de stad in een oud badhuid, dus uitbreiden zit er verder niet in. Het is besloten en daarmee intiem, hier blijven we komen.

I am interested in getting a massage. Are these treatments available there? Is draping used in the massages or is it au natural like the rest of the facility?

Yes, we do have massages available daily (always book in advance) When having a massage, the most part of the body is covered with towels, provided by the therapist.
When having a massage it is possible, but not required, to wear underwear, whatever makes you feel more comfortable.

We had a hire car which certainly worked out cheaper for the 3 days.
I would only guess a taxi or I think there was train / tram station fairly near by.
