Das Rathaus von Rotterdam ist wunderschön - von außen und von innen gleichermaßen. Besonders schön ist aber der Garten. Eine Ruheoase mitten in der Stadt! Traumhaft.

We had a lovely leisurely walk from our hotel to the City Hall. The architecture is impressive, interiors as well. But what we loved was the courtyard/garden inside where we stayed for awhile while our kid played. It's a beautiful place to be in.

Rotterdam's city hall, a rare survivor of Nazi bombing, stands tall as if nothing ever changes. Like other Dutch cities, the building is grand and impressive. It also blends harmoniously with the postwar modern reconstruction.

Located in the centre of Rotterdam the city hall building a s brilliant piece of architecture. It is easily accessible by tram, metro or on foot.

We went inside this building as part of a walking architecture tour. There is a gorgeous lobby and a lovely garden that is open to the public.

This is a very beautiful building and the surroundings are very nice and clean. Just wished it was in a square or somewhere more pedestrian friendly. We had to cross the street to take pictures

Ein sehenswertes Gebäude, vor dem sich regelmäßig Hochzeitspaare einfinden. Es lohnt sich ein Blick in den Innenhof wie auch auf die Innenräume mit den Servicestellen der Stadt. Natürlich darf man weder Publikum noch Beschäftigte fotografieren. Fotografen werden sofort angesprochen, aber wer darauf achtet, dass garantiert keine Person zu sehen ist und dies sofort dem Wachpersonal zeigt wird ausgesprochen freundlich behandelt. In Rotterdam sind öffentliche Toiletten extrem selten – hier ist eine der seltenen Gelegenheiten für eine saubere Örtlichkeit.

To do your usual affairs you will have to enter through one of the side doors and will be greeted by the usual dutch efficiency. When getting married you have access to the stately front door and you will get an entirely different feel for the place

Leuk om langs te lopen en een foto te maken. Je kunt ook de hal in, van binnen is het ook mooi. Het blijft echter een stadhuis, er is niet veel te doen voor bezoekers.
