It is a pretty nice museum with a very nice collection of cars. Unfortunately, you see the unfriendliness towards tourism again, where the given information is only translated in some places. And then there's a drawer in half the size of the French explanation, which makes it hard to really take in information.
This is also reflected in the temporary space exhibition, where it is almost only about how great the contribution is from, not Belgium, but specifically Wallonia.
My back with those nasty annoying Walloons, it just shows how limited their underdeveloped worldview really is.

Great impromptu day out. The entrance fee is only 11 euros per person so great value. There was also the British car show being set up outside so lots to see. There are plenty of little cafes in the town. Great day out.

Good: Huge collection of cars, and decent variety: Formula Vee, F1, Rally, Grand Touring. Some good Spa related displays. cars were well looked after and stunning shape.
Bad: little information regarding the exhibits. Few significant historical vehicles or anything that stirred a lot of passion to see in person. A simulator is present but was not working or not staffed in July. Little interactivity aside from a few PlayStation with Grand Turismo running. Very little about the track itself or its history. Lighting was poor due to the basement setting, and the audio guide didn't work. Staff was not engaging - they were talking with each other, took my money and went back to talking.

Nice collection of cars and motorcycles. Also interesting displays with historical information. Didn’t know that the circuit used to be 14 km! Is is always difficult to keep these things uptodate, but they should revise several panels.

Indrukwekkend collectie auto’s en aardige impressie van het oude en nieuwe circuit. Interessante uitleg over, niet alleen motorsport, maar ook de motor techniek. Wel heel amateuristisch. Met dit thema zou ik meer verwachten.

Frankly as I was really looking forward to visiting this museum, once there, I was disappointed. It has the potential to offer so much but is frankly a bit underwhelming. Firstly it's quite small and tucked down in the basement, then the exhibits .... whilst interesting don't very good descriptions. The whole place needs a refresh with more recent exhibits being added. After there we went to the circuit (about a 10 min drive away) and watched the practice for a forthcoming 6 hour race - much more interesting.

Many nice cars, motor bikes and other stuff for anyone with an interest in Formula1 and motor sports.
Not much information about the race course or the past and present drivers - but still well worth an hour of your time if you are in the area and have even a remote interest in the circus around motor sports.

Intéressant, un guide, nous étions en groupe, de belles voitures formules 1, ainsi que quelques anciennes, des motos, les pilotes, une simulation du circuit, une vidéo comme si on était sur le circuit, musée dans l'abbaye, une petite boutique.
Je trouve que ceux qui viennent voir le circuit doivent quand même faire au moins 1 fois le musée qui est un peu plus loin.
Vous pouvez aussi utiliser le simulateur comme si vous étiez sur le circuit en achetant un ticket à la boutique

In de gebouwen zijn eigenlijk vier musea, waarvan een het F1 museum is. Erg leuk om de auto’s te zien en de geschiedenis van het circuit te zien. Jammer dat Max nog niet in de wee galerij is opgenomen. Er was een tijdelijke tentoonstelling van National Geographic foto’s. Dan was er een prachtig tentoonstelling van de geschiedenis van Stavelot, maar helaas waren alle bordjes in het Frans. Bizar! En als laatste een deel over een schrijver die op bezoek is geweest in Stavelot, die ons niets zei en ook weer alleen in het Frans. Jammer.
