我们在去choco story的路上在这里停了下来，发现了这个地方，所以我们决定进去看看。我惊喜地发现它是多么有趣。布置得很好。没有什么不好的地方，还有足够的空间移动。虽然是个酷刑博物馆，但也不是血淋淋的。有蜡像，描绘了使用酷刑的设备等，也有其他物品的陈列柜。每个酷刑都有介绍，类似为什么被使用，如何被使用的描述。这个博物馆位于地下，所以不能坐轮椅进去，而且楼下有点暗，每个人7欧元左右的门票价格是合理的

我和我老公是在一天晚上偶然发现这家博物馆的。我们觉得这博物馆很有意思也很写实。尽管员工们非常亲切友好，热情好客，但我们觉得收费有点高了。

Decouverte de l horreur de l esprit humain

Musée atypique qui nous rappelle les plus folles idées de l etre humain pour avoir des aveux et malheureusement faire souffrir de pauvres gens.
Le musée est certes pas très grand mais si on lit un peu les descriptions et les différentes explications on y passe une bonne heure .Tous les sujets sont traités et les instruments bien exposés.

Bonne visite mais courte...

Beaucoup de monde quand nous y sommes allés, on ne pouvait pas circuler.

Les explications sont bien, et le musée en lui-même aussi.

Je trouve juste que la visite est très courte.

Cependant, les prix sont très abordables ! La personne au guichet nous a fait payer un tarif familial (pour 2 adultes et 2 étudiants) pour 25€.

Worth a visit...…if its raining!

We visited this museum on a 3 day break to Bruges this week. Does what it says on the tin really, gruesome and some quite disturbing pieces from the world's history of torture and execution, so probably not for small children or the squeamish. Quite small and we got around it in roughly 30-40 minutes. I wouldn't call it a must see, but worth a visit if its raining or you have a spare hour. At 9 euros each, I felt it a little over priced.

Leuk klein museum met verschillende kamers waar je goed kan zien hoe het er vroeger aan toe ging. We zijn er ongeveer een half uur tot 45 minuten binnen geweest. Wij, een gezin met twee volwassenen en twee tieners vonden het interresant maar ook informatief museum

Interesting museum

The museum is interesting and informative. Unfortunately, some of the written information is not well situated - at times it was a bit far to see, at times there was so much glare, it was hard to read. Positively, the information was presented in a few languages. Overall, a worthwhile experience, but the museum needs a bit of an overhaul to do it justice (no pun intended).

Great little museum to pass an hour! Very informative, great value for money, they have toilets inside. All information is in multiple languages. You will need a strong stomach for some of them but majority ismore interesting than distressing

Good Museum, But Incredibly Cramped

We really enjoyed this museum, and for the price, it was a bargain. It had plenty of information and was thankfully available in multiple languages, which was a relief as a Brit Abroad. But whilst it was very interesting, it was incredibly cramped. A lot of people were allowed in at once and the corridors are very thin. So I had several moments where I was being pushed or other visitors were blocking my view.

Not a must see but worth a visit. I learned of new torture techniques, lots of info in a few different languages on each display. You will be done within 45 mins if its not busy

Who’s torturing who?

I really wanted to give this a good review. But it is pretty low key. Kids between the ages of about 10 -24 will probably love it. Smaller children will find it frightening. Older adults will find it interesting but campy. Most of the items you see are replicas and most of the information, while presented in several different languages, is basic stuff. It is also pretty repetitive and not well organized. The high point are the small segments of original walls from an ancient prison- but most of the building was destroyed. Some interesting historical stuff was mildly interesting ( fyi: most scholars reject the chastity belt as a fabrication). It cost 9 euros for adults- I would suggest 4:50 as a more appropriate price.
Parents could probably use this as a diversion for their children.
