“老城区”
我们去了阿尔韦贝拉度假，非常喜欢这个古老的小镇。古老的鹅卵石街道沉浸在历史之中，街道上有哑剧演员、街头表演者、渔人广场及其餐馆，电梯向下通往广场或悬崖顶端。街边有很多餐馆、酒吧和咖啡馆。有些还有现场娱乐项目，以及可爱的礼品店和各种各样的小商店。我们只是到处走走，感受一下周围的气氛。主广场上通常有排萧演奏表演，在那里可以看到通往海滩的老隧道。
“我们早晨安静地散步的地方”
我对热门的旅游景点不太感冒，所以起初心里有些成见。但是我喜欢上了这里，在它安静的时候。我们每天上午10点以前来这儿，此时周围人很少，店铺刚刚开始营业。在人群涌来之前，正适合坐在咖啡馆里享受一段时光。

Beautiful Old Town

The old town of Albufeira is beautiful with cobbled streets and typical white-washed houses. There are plenty of restaurants and bars, and a lively nightlife. And you are never far from a nice view of the sea and the beach.

Passez votre chemin, il n'y a plus rien d'intéressant !!!

Quelle déception, la vieille ville est noyée sous les restos, les night-club, les pubs et les magasins de souvenirs made in china ! Aucun charme, aucun attrait sauf pour les anglais qui en ont fait leur QG. La descente se fait par un escalator en plein air, cela donne déjà la température de ce qui se trouve en bas !!!

For those wishing to find it, there are still white washed houses and quaint churches on cobbled streets.

In the same way that the Costa’s are not representative of the true Spain, the Algarve and Albefuira in particular, is not representative of the true Portugal.
The historic centre does give you a glimpse, but you need to search it out away from the tourist focussed sections and If your experience of the Old Town is just the central square and it’s surrounding streets with its tourist tackiness and lack of culture, then I can understand some of the reviews below.
However you have to explore a bit further to find the remaining untouched bits. You are looking for the streets between the Porta do Norte and the Portas Da Villa Antiquity Bar, and if you need a Google reference point then I would suggest to use the Três Coroas restaurant or the Capela da Misericórdia and then explore the streets surrounding these. Then the area around the clock tower and the Catholic Church Igreja Matriz de Albufeira is worth exploring also.
If you want to escape from the bland bar scene then these areas are nice to explore during the day.

Quartier absolument pas typique du Portugal, sur commercialisé par des restaurants et magasins étrangers (resto mexicains, américains, etc… magasins de bricoles made in china etc…). Aucune authenticité, on vous déconseille cette visite si c’est ce que vous recherchez.
Point positif la vue sur la plage.

Poucos dias perto da Praoa da Oura pouco recomendaveis

Para quem procura descansar, divirtir mas sem confusão, sem baratas e cheiro a lixo, quem aprecia uma boa relação preço versus qualidade ou até pagar mais um pouco mas por algo que valha a pena, então chego à conclusão que 20 anso depois Albufeira não é o local, está pior, e não recomendo.

Awful Place - Not Very Family Friendly

A very disappointing experience. It sells itself as a beautiful cobbled and whitewashed historic area but all that’s there are cheap shops (acceptable in a tourist hotspot, though) and bars, nightclubs and one strip club (not acceptable in a family friendly tourist hotspot).

We couldn’t understand how people had recommended this on Tripadvisor and can only assume if you’re between the ages of 18-24 and happy to drink in unhygienic establishments, this would be the best place to go.

What’s left of the old town is pretty, but it can’t be enjoyed at all with the surrounds.

Una discoteca a cielo aperto

Assurdo che un paese che probabilmente era bello 30 fa oggi si sia ridotto ad essere una discoteca a cielo aperto musica assordante in tutti i bar, impossibile persino parlare. Mi domando come facciano a vivere le poche persone del posto. Che tristezza, mai più qui.

Charmerende gammel bydel

Albufeiras charmerende gamle bydel der oser af historie fra det gamle Portugal. Her finder man historiske bygninger i fin kombination med moderne turist-faciliteter. De snævre brostensbelagte gader slanger sig frem til byens centrale plads, der er dekoreret med træer og buske og omgivet af små, hyggelige fortovscafeer, hvidkalkede huse og en pittoresk havn med farverige både. De små gader byder på gode muligheder for shopping, særligt tøj og læderbutikker er der mange af - og også gavebutikker samt restauranter og barer for enhver smag.

Più che un centro storico sembra un aggrovigliarsi di vie piene di negozi dove sicuramente si trovano diversi souvenir. Comunque da vedere ha un suo perché. Bella spiaggia raggiungibile con un tunnel. Comodo il free public parking vicino al centro. Attenzione a non andare nella parte sterrata è davvero piena di buche profonde.

Kann man sich sparen

Massentourismus at its best. Menschenmassen über Menschenmassen, es ist laut und dreckig und erinnert mehr an Ballermann als irgendetwas anderes! Überall billige Ramschgeschäfte und Kneipen für Fußballfans. Ich war vor 20 Jahren das letzte mal hier, da hatte Albufeira noch etwas. Jetzt ist es nur noch eine britische Bettenhochburg.
