It is with great disappointment that I express my indignation at the continuation of the events of bulls, unfortunately in our dear city.
In the 21st century it is inconceivable that such cruel and archaic practices still find a place in our society and our city.
They perpetuate the suffering of harmless animals and stain the image of our city! Certainly the values they advocate do not meet these bizarre practices.
I feel ashamed to know that a place with so much potential chooses to celebrate violence and animal exploitation.
Where does the bull empower us? Where power the social and cultural development of our city?
I feel a great alien shame !!!!

The Figueirense Coliseum is a beautiful building but it is regrettable that there are still shows of cruelty and blood such as bulls. Figueira da Foz has to evolve and end violence.
You can use this space for music shows, concerts or small fairs and markets.

In Portugal they do not kill the bulls. Anyone stating otherwise didn't go in or they write for the NY Times.

An occasional visit, for a bullfight or a musical concert, always pleasant to visit, for unforgettable moments, especially with some music bands, paying homage to famous artists, now deceased, such as Tina Turner or Freddy Mercury.

It was the first bullfighting arena I have ever seen in my life. While touring the city with my friends, we saw that its door was open and we went inside. It was a small stadium like a box. Since there is no such culture in our country, we wanted to see it. We also took pictures with the elderly officials working there. This is a really nice collesium.

O Coliseu Figueirense, inaugurado a 24 de Agosto de 1895, tem capacidade para mais de 5000 pessoas e tem sido palco de muito mais do que espectáculos de tauromaquia: desporto, concertos e a famosa Festa da Sardinha - que regressa este ano nos dias 7, 8 e 9 de Junho.
A Companhia do Coliseu Figueirense promove, entre 4 de Junho e 30 de Agosto, um programa de visitas guiadas ao Coliseu.
As visitas guiadas, de 90 minutos, realizam-se de 3.ª a 6.ª feira, com início às 15.30. Os ingressos têm o custo de 2 Euros por pessoa, sendo gratuitos para menores de 12 anos, e podem ser adquiridos no local.

Ik had graag het Coliseu willen bezoeken, maar het was gesloten. Ook geen bordje met openingstijden en ook op internet heb ik die niet kunnen vinden. Jammer.
