Wonderful shop for a glove-lover. You can find here gloves for spring and autumn. You may also find some fancy finger free gloves. Colours are wonderful and the leather so soft. Love it. You are treated like a royal in the shop.

Fantastic letter gloves (lined with cashmere) for a good price. It is a tiny place, but the service was wonderful and the selection large. I should have bought two pairs!

Handmade, bespoke gloves for men and women. The purchasing experience is as delightful as the product. A tiny shop - room for two customers max. Kind, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Any photos you see of the shop, including on their own web page, aren't just of the front door area - that 10' or so is the width of the entire shop! Be prepared to wait outside if there's more than 1 additional customer being served. This establishment (est. 1925) hearkens back to the days of some tiny storefronts!
When we visited, stock was rather depleted (late November 23). Many of the styles shown in the windows and display wall and case were unavailable. Perhaps our timing wasn't good being as close to the Christmas season.
That said, we were able to find suitable gloves for gifts, the service was excellent, and the quality very good. Be prepared to pay about US$80 per pair.
A word of warning: This shop doesn't use the girth of a hand in their sizing considerations at all. Manufactured girth increases with length by some unknown formula, but all is sized based upon length. We were all prepared to use the careful measurements we'd made, only to find ourselves having to do some fast recalculations. If buying for others, you'll want to pay special attention to the length of fingers, with secondary attention to full palm base to fingertip length. We found that the smallest hand we needed to fit required the shop's size 7-1/4, and the largest hand 8-1/2. What we determined is that their sizes actually do appear to be based roughly upon palm base to fingertip measure in inches, whether intentional or not.

My wife and I stopped here around 5:00 pm and there were two people in line. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get in.
The gloves are first rate and the woman who waited on us was great. She knows everything about their gloves and is extremely personable. It was very enjoyable to deal with her.
My wife and I each bought a pair of gloves which cost around €80 each. Men’s gloves are limited to brown and black. My wife could choose from about 40% of the gloves on display, based on her hand size.
This is a very memorable shop and shopping experience. Highly recommended.

Une boutique lilliputienne mais quelles belles choses . A chaque visite , je me rends chez eux acheter de nouveaux gants .
Il y a des années que j’en porte sans qu’aucune paire soit en mauvais état car la qualité du cuir est magnifique .
Ils m’ont même réparé des gants achetés des années auparavant.
Et les prix sont plus que raisonnables .
Courez-y vite .

I purchased two lovely pairs of leather gloves from this nearly century old store. One pair for myself, the other for my daughter. I went through the traditional measurement, and hand/glove massage while my elbow rested on the pillow. It was like being part of an initiation ceremony. I will treasure the gloves, and the memory of this store from another era!.

my wife sews, knits and loves fabric. I found this on TA, several other Portugal sites, and I think Rick Steves. So I surprised my wife on our first day in Lisbon by taking her here and buying her a pair of "custom" gloves.
They do not make custom gloves, to my knowledge, but they do fit them personally to you. It's big enough for 1-2 people and it has been there nearly 100 years. Very delightful women running the show. A unique practical souvenir.

Un endroit si petit que nous ne pouvons entrer qu’à deux. Cela permet de choisir tranquillement et de bénéficier de conseils individualisés! La qualité des gants est celle d’un travail artisanal et le professionnalisme du vendeur lui permet de trouver la bonne taille juste en regardant votre main.
Il est de ces endroits intemporels comme il n’en existe plus beaucoup.
Faites vous un petit plaisir que vous ne regretterez pas!
