此岛属于葡萄牙，有上好几百年历史。小岛上有着非常古老的气味，仿佛回到好几百年前，生活在大航海时代。这国家保护的植物公园是被提名为世上最顶尖的植物园之一。岛上还有着很丰富的历史，值得一游。

我们在缆车入口买了一张联票，而且觉得整个经历非常值。我们是自己探索游玩的，我想我们游遍了花园的每一个部分了。这里的花和水上景观都非常漂亮，有很多意想不到的美丽发现，真的非常漂亮又非常多以致我的相机都没停过。我们的游玩大概持续了3个小时，时间过得很快。我们甚至都没注意到我们已经走过了返回入口陡峭的路程。免费的马德拉酒很不错不过没必要，因为这并不会为你的旅行增添什么特别之处。如果可以的话自己来旅游而不是跟团，因为你会更自由，你想去哪想玩多久都由自己决定。

我读过很多马德里的热带植物的文章，但是离开这个公园的时候很失望。有可能是因为我去的时间不对（三月下旬）也有可能是我没看见，但我真的不明白有什么惊艳的地方。缆车旅行挺有趣的。

我们在这里花了2个半小时，非常愉快和享受——有很多台阶，很多有趣的东西可以看。凭门票可以在咖啡馆里喝一杯马德拉酒。

这是一个很好照料的公共花园，那里有各种风格的花圃，而那些植物伴随着雕像、花瓶、水景和非洲雕塑（在特展）。可以充分享受好的小路和标识。但咖啡馆是令人扫兴的，或许餐饮在旅游旺季会好得多吧。总的来说，这是一个极好的花园。

这座花园很美，园内有很多小道可走。在入口处买门票的时候你会得到一张小地图。这里有个很可爱的水池，其中有一些雕塑，还有天鹅在其中游动。这里有瀑布和水池，美丽的树木和植物，是一个非常美好宁静的地方。花园里有几个洗手间。此外在花园里还有一些非常吸引人的东西，水晶石头美得令人惊叹，还有非洲雕刻的展览，简直太棒了。

To go to Monte Palace gardens the bus is 22 Babosas and a short (5 mins) walk. To go to the Botanical gardens the bus is 31/31A Jardim Botanico and drops you at the entrance.

Not really recommended. The Parc has a nice restaurant for lunch or cafe.

Visiting early July. What are the current prices for entrance and also for a cable car on the way up and a toboggan on the way down?also are credit cards accepted for all of these? Thank you in advance.

We bought a 10 trip ticket for the local bus services as our hotel was out of town. You could just hop on and go. Lots of buses and each trip only cost 2 euros

Yes very easy. You get a map when you buy your ticket. Also lots of places to sit and enjoy the views. But do allow at least 2-3 hours if you can. Not a place to rush around.

There are lots of taxis. But the most coat effective way is the public bus. (20€ compared to 1.95€ each)

There's no need to book. Just turn up at the Ticket Kiosk at the main entrance. There's loads of room for everyone! Enjoy. Mondavi 56
