Pedro was by far the most fantastic guide ever. He is passionate, knowledgeable, articulate and so much fun! He was so easy to listen to, and so responsive to all our questions. We talked about everything - of course all the sites we saw, but also about Portugal religion, economy, politics, family.
There were 4 of us on the tour and by the end of the day, the 5 of us hugged and kissed goodbye. Pedro took lots of pictures of us which he forwarded to us right away - wonderful memories/keepsakes. I’d give him 10 stars!

Pedro was awesome. We got to Braga fairly early and were able to visit the sites while they were very uncrowded. We walked the stairs all the way up to the wonderful view at the top, then took the water funicular down the hill where Pedro met us with the van . He really packed a lot into the day, including a trip to a rural palace rarely visited by Americans. Charming lunch after walking over the Roman/medieval bridge over the Lima river.
After poking our nose briefly into Spain, we drove down the coast. Stopped for a wonderful view of the river running into the Atlantic Ocean and made it back to our hotel by 7:30 in the evening.
Pedro drove smoothly and safely, and gave great explanations of all the sites.

Piedro was an absolute fantastic guide and provided us two beautiful days of tours. The Douro valley tour was incredible. The views were breathtaking, the wine was divine, and the company (Piedro) was everything you can ask for in a guide. Thank you Piedro for providing us with memories we will not soon forget!!!

This is a fabulous day. Pedro has extensive knowledge of the local area and history. The itinerary was well balanced and lunch was a feast combined with excellent wines!!

Pedro is warm, personable, and very educated about his country’s history and culture. He offered thoughtful answers to the many questions and our conversations expanded from there.

Pedro took my dad and I on an wonderful private day trip through the Vinho Verde region. Although we had some vineyards in mind, he used his local knowledge to book us into two excellent places that we never would have found on our own. He was knowledgeable and friendly and we felt totally comfortable in his hands. His communication leading up to the day and afterwards was great and we went above and beyond expectations when it came to dropping off the wine that we had bought. I would highly recommend Pedro for any tour in the region.

My partner and I, along with 2 other lovely visitors, were guided through Braga, Ponte de Lima, Viana do Castelo, and a surprise visit across the border and into Galicia, Spain.
Pedro was informative, attentive, funny, and accommodating to the priorities and preferences of the group, even when traffic and local festivals managed to force some detours.
We also shared an incredible family-style lunch in a restaurant in Arcos de Veldevez, where he acted like a host, helping to bring dish after dish of delicious regional cuisine.
I would gladly recommend Pedro as well as this specific tour. This wonderfully green and friendly region of Minho is a little of the major tourism radar, but it shouldn't be. It's worth every moment you will spend here!

This tour will always be one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. The scenery, culinary and cultural experiences were amazing. Pedro makes this adventure even more amazing and special with his knowledge and personality. We highly recommend Pedro to anyone interested in exploring Northern Portugal.

Our tour with Pedro was AMAZING! I would give it a 10 STAR RATING. He has a very friendly, relaxed style. Our first stop was in a small town for delicious pastries and coffee. Then a tour of the church. Then on to a wine estate with a walk through vineyards, beautiful gardens, house wine cellar and tastings. Followed by a drive through the breathtaking Douro wine country to the most amazing lunch (and of course wine). Pedro imparts historical knowledge by way of telling stories, so you are constantly connected waiting for the next chapter. On our next trip we will definitely book another tour with Pedro.
